Not only the new V 1.0, but the old 0.9.6 have what looks like TV static instead of text when I try to play them. I can still play through a few scenes, but obviously with the static in place, I have no clue what anybody is saying. If anyone knows how I may fix that, I would appreciate it.

How do I properly trigger and start either of the new quests? I get a conversation at school in which Danny mentions getting headache pills for Jazz, but that conversation with Jazz never happened in my save file, and the quest log does not update from "1) ???"

It's a pretty fun little game, though it is riddled with a lot of spelling and grammar issues. Mostly small mistakes, but they're quite plentiful.

the level of inconsistency in the art is kind of wild given how long this update took.

Maddie will consistently have two different 2 different art styles in the same scene and 3 different art styles across the whole game

Previous team was forced to separate from Team Bieno / Gzone due to issues Gzone created and allowed to continue. As a result, the choice was made by Gzone to use AI since he did not want to pay an artist for their time.

On one hand Gzone doesn't want to lose the cash cow that is Amity Park, as well as his other game. To that point he will more than likely keep it going as long as possible.

On the other hand, due to his inability to due numerous things previously mentioned in this thread, one of the biggest being actually pay an artist / animator for their time instead of requesting someone do the work for free; the updates will continue to be past the deadline as well as include less content as well as utilize more of AI.

Other than the length of time it takes, Gzone's incompetence is a good thing because it will push people towards Morah SDG 's project.
