Ren'Py - Amnesia [v0.100b] [Super Alex]

Wow, Just wow. This game is Amazing considering its essentially a prologue. A lenghthy one regardless. The renders are hands down the best quality I have ever seen on any renpy game this far. The character models are simply hot. Obviously everyone has their tastes but I don't believe you could even dislike the look of these characters. The dialogue is quite well written and gets your emotianally invested quite quickly. I can't wait for a new update.

Very promising, an instant 5* from me.
The models, outfits, and renders are of the quality you'd expect from Super Alex. I'm happy to see that he's gone with RenPy - Lucky Mark's playability had some issues, and this should be better.
Yeah, the behaviour of the MC is sometimes frustrating - I want to play him in a more confident, experienced fashion - but hey, I'm not writing the story.
There's some suggestion that we'll get to dominate characters like Elena and Alexandra, and I hope so - that's going to be amazing!

The renders of the females look great, the mom could look a little older and the sisters hair part are my only issues there, their lips look fantastic though. The MC however looks much less detailed and his hair looks as though he has had hair plugs. The basis of the story seems to be good so far. The execution of the dialogue between the characters is where this game suffers the most imo. The interactions seem unnatural and unnecessarily wordy. As an example, i feel like it is very unlikely everyone else would be speaking so poorly of their lives on the day the MC woke up. They are saying him being home makes them so happy and it is all that matters, however they keep complaining about their own issues. Anyway, like it, will look forward to more of this game.

After Super's Alex I had high hopes for this title.
For now we got a decent game with great renders but somehow bland story. English is a little funny here and there and dialogues stiff and sometimes random. Expressions of most characters look stiff.. and forced animations of eyes closing and opening up useless to the story. Two renders altenrating would be better than whole animation which somehow appeared to lag on my computer.. I don't know what dev did but each end every animation got lag... even after updating DirectX after being prompted.

I had higher expectations after Lucky Mark. The only thing that didn't appear worse than than his previous title are renders. Those are still damn good.

Very promising start, really looking forward for future updates.

Some of the best renders in any game on this site, interesting story, but not much gameplay yet.

Developers previous game had a lot of grinding and as V1.0 is only intro, I can't comment yet if this one is any better gameplaywise.

The graphics are really nice, but i have to take off a few stars because of the story and characters... The MC really acts like a horny 15 year old teenager for some strange reason despite having amnesia. I don't think people with amnesia would do these strange "actions". All the other characters seem really shallow to me for some reason; its like they just throw themselves onto him except for one of the character that seem like a generic stuck up girl we see in these types of VN, but maybe he was a pimp before whatever happened to him and did something bad to them.
This game won't be done for years as how all these "patreon VN" goes maybe it will be a masterpiece or garbage who knows; will have to wait and see.

Well Everything is great, the artwork is freaking amazing, the story is captivating (unlike most recent games which have really dumb stories and dialogues), but this is one is quite believable. unfortunately there is not much to play right now and it's just the intro (even though it's like 1.5 GB) and there aren't any sex scenes at all (except a few peeking scenes and a couple of vague flashbacks) but to sum everything up i highly recommend you to play it, it is quite the experience.

Good start with the first release. The renders are great (even if some shapes - such as thighs - are a bit disproportionate sometimes) and I really like the soundtracks in your games.
Good work, and I hope the level remains the same for future releases.

One could say this is yet another Mom/Son/Sis story, but there's more depth to it. At least that's the vibe I'm getting.
There's a sandbox element, but it's not grindy so I'm ok with that, but to be honest it could just be removed in my opinion. If the story is good, you don't need it.
Renders are great, way above average and the girls look fantastic.

I Will come back to this review in the future, but for now this first release gets a 5/5 from me and is a must try for any AVN fans out there.

Great game so far. Great graphics and good story. It is really exciting. So bit by bit you get to know what it's all about and how the amnesia came about. The older sister and the mother are very beautiful! I look forward to further updates.

The models look really good however the facial expression is a little bit stiff here and there.
Mom's eyes are too bright under light reflection which makes it a little too unrealistic, I would prefer the reflection on her pupil to be changed to a dark gray or light gray.
Big sister's hair is a little weird to me with too much scalp visible at the hair gap in the middle.
The story seems really interesting for now. I am looking forward to learning how young Elena ends up with her husband in Lucky Mark or if we can change it.

I think it's a little early to make many comments, I just have to mention the following:
The graphics are phenomenal, despite everything there is little emotion on the faces of the characters,but they are incredible beautiful
The story is still early to be commented because there is a lot of text but almost no juice.
in short, I am fascinated with the graphics (I give 5 stars for that), the rest is waiting for what will come

Hello Alex! We were waiting for you to come back with something good. A little surprised by Amnesia! It's a difficult topic, but not a bad idea. We are curious to see what you have in mind ... because you want to surprise your admirers. The base is good, the characters are very cute..so let's see the miracle! I don't think we should be disappointed in you! Good luck !

So for an introductory chapter, I think it's a good start. I agree with previous reviews in that the MC's thoughts get a bit wordy, and yes, he does seem a bit over the top with his sex craze. However, I get the impression from actually reading the story that there is meant to be more to that, like a reasoning to be discovered later on why he is that way. For reading, it's clear in a lot of places that the author's native language is not english, but never once had issue following the story.

For renders, this game is so far top notch. All of the women, including both sisters, the mother and the girlfriend are very well done. I like a game where the body proportions are a little overly sexualized but not so much to be ridiculously out of natural proportions. This game hits that mark quite well.

For gameplay, there's a good flow with no grind or anything of that nature as of v1.0. I played with a few of the optional choices but haven't really determined how much of an impact the choices make on the story. As of now, MOST don't seem to have any impact. Will have to revisit that later in a future release for a more thorough opinion.

In summary, definitely one worth following.

Puh, where do it start?

First of all, i really (and i cant stress this enough) Hate all the WOOP 5 STARS HUUUUGE POTENTIAL, reviews.

Reviews are not ment to be a crystal ball that you stare at in the hopes that you might see something good in there if you just stare long enough.

Reviews should reflect the current state of a Game, in an objective manner if possible.

The Renders in this game are good, not the best i've ever seen but above average without a question.

Now as you can see, im no native english speaker, so my judgement on how "good" or "bad" the english is, will be flawed.However the english is "okish" you can understand it, there are some typos and wrong words. But it doesnt stop the flow of reading really. You can even if one word in a sentence is wrong just read past it. Unlike some other games out there where you have to guess WTF its supposed to mean.

The Girls, this is obviously biased, because whether you like em or not is personal preference. I do like them, and in the department of the kind of Women they are, they are above average in details and apprearance.

The Characters i.e whats behind the pretty Face : Really hard to rate this at this stage. It is an Intro, like a first date kinda situation. You hear some things about the Characters, and you might have a tendency whether you like them or not. But you have to meet them a few more times to see whether they are interessting and have depth to them or not.

The Story : A little bit like it is with the Characters, the story in its basics is not new. Waking up from a coma was there before, amnesia was there before. But thats neither good or bad so far, just a fact. That your father is a missing veteran and not some class A asshole that left your family, is "new" and might have a plot twist at some point, but it doesnt change the fact that the basic are. You are now the "Man of the House", living together with 3 (you only see 2 but there is a second sister mentioned) beatiful Women in a house. The typical Incest game story foundation. But whether that story will be good or not, is something you simply cant judge based on what you see so far.

The MC. While this would usually belong in the "Characters" line. I feel like that he needs his own spotlight right now.
I understand that this is a sex game and now some million dollar romatic movie shit. But this MC acts like a 12 year old teenager creep.
Example : Girls knocks on the door, you open up, its your Girlfriend that you cant remember (memory loss). You go to your room and talk, out of fucking nowhere MC grabs her tit (reasoning behing it from the game is, because you were surrounded by beatiful women the whole day, and you are horny because of it). She is shocked for a moment, and then pushes you away.
Erm sorry, what in the fuck happened here.
Also for the love of god, it is fine to have "thoughts" of the MC, but there is a difference between "Oh shit i saw her panties" and "Oh shit i saw her panties, maybe i saw them before my coma too? What if its completly normal for me to see them? What are those feelings i have? Maybe i shouldnt stare so much, maybe mom saw it......+ another 200 words of thoughts"

TLR kind of average at this point, average incest family intro, good renders, beatiful girls if they are your style. No Story worth mentioning, a lot of words wasted in MCs thoughts for no reason.
Not really worth a download at this stage, a LOT of words but no real result yet.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, while there is a "mute all sound" button. There are still sounds all over the fucking place, sure i can just kill it in the windows volume mixer, but seriously, if you dont sound in this game, make sure to kill it in the volume BEFORE you start playing, otherwise you might have a near heartattack expierence too.

Keep the story flowing slowly,very interesting and teasing. Graphics are very good,hope for some more good animation in the future updates. Put in some more caracters in the story,(female ofcourse). Cousins visiting MC and something like that.

I really enjoyed the overarching plot and twists in this game, as it encompasses all the classic elements of a good story. Although the standalone routes weren’t by any means remarkable, they were great at building suspense and a sense of urgency to figure out the pieces of the puzzle in order to solve the mystery. The universe of this games grows increasingly more complex and interesting the further you delve into the storyline. This demonstrates solid world-building and good storyline pacing by the writers.

Definitely 5 for me. Super Alex has probably the best renders in adult gaming (in his previous game Lucky Mark and this one). There are several just as good of course, but I haven't seen many projects that have better graphics.

There were several problems with Lucky Mark though: 1. Unity Engine. 2. Too many grind and time/day skipping. 3. Some problems with writing and language. And as I see it: all of those 3 problems are gone. At least for me. It's finally a Ren'Py. I haven't seen a single instance of grind so far. And I hope if there appear some "stats" in the future that you would need to improve it wouldn't be too grindy as well. The writing also became a lot better. Not 5 out 5, but definitely a strong 4.

And to people complaing about a dude behaving like a horny teenager... in a porn game?.. seriously??... c'mon!.. yeah, it would be much better if he answered to everyone: "we will have sex only after a marriage, young lady... and only to sire our offsping..." and "mom! what are you wearing?! you are a decent grown woman! you should be ashamed of yourself! never do that again!".. jeez...

So all in all - I'll sure recommend this one. I thought the developer went for a loooong vacation after finishing Lucky Mark. I'm glad he is back!

PS. Also I would like to see not only Elena (not "rejuvenated", but as her former self), but Christina as well. She was my favourite.

PS. Would be awesome if he could make a RenPy port of Lucky Mark as well.

The renders and characters in general look fantastic. So, this game is beautiful even for an initial release. I also like the set up for the game. Rather than the generic single guy in a household of sexy women, at least there's an explanation as to why it's like that and we learn who those girls are along with the MC.

However, it has other problems that detract from its value. The first is the fact that the MC goes over what's happening in his thoughts for far too long. It's not just current things either, the writing is such that he's replaying events that literally just happened minutes before. Fine, you did something, I was there, I saw it. I don't need another 250 words to tell me what I just witnessed. The other and more annoying issue for me is how ridiculous the MC comes off. Is he 12? He's excited and retarded about everything. Wooo, look at that, such a sexy bare leg! Oh my god, I'm just going to grab this girl, whom I don't know from Eve since I've been horny all day! What the actual fuck?! I would be fine with the option to do that being there, if you weren't FORCED to do it and act like a 12 year old Stiffler that had his first boner.

So, no this game is not a 5 star game. In appearance, most definitely, but the MC alone deducts two stars. Hopefully it gets better.

Decent game with FANTASTIC renders. My main gripe with the game is the author seems to try to pad scenes just to get more words. Many statements are repeated 4 or 5 times for no apparent reason (I dont want to say what to avoid spoilers). If this was just a few scenes it would be fine, but it is nearly all of them. I hope as future updates come that the author will keep dialog to repeating two times at most for emphasis.
