The fact that the game only updates for 5 minutes each time will definitely severely impact players who spent $30 on the game, leading to fewer and fewer people unwilling to spend $30 on the game. We will also lose the heroes who share games, and the time we need to wait for game sharing will become longer and longer.

Its called boiling the frogs. Then they magically when someone else is in charge they'll blame the entire problem on them.
They paid the 30 knowing it was early access. Also stealing. I pirate too, but I don't romanticize it and chances are if people are on their patreon or whatever they are auto paying $10 a month they dont care about and the dev is still getting money. Whats more likely is the dev is actively updating their game for once and the introduction of AI has expedited the process. This also makes long time donors happy because most people were waiting for this game to become vaporware for years.

You go to the "game" folder and select the "script version.txt" file and change it to (8, 3, 7). Of course, you also have to download ren'py version 8.3.7 to be able to play this game.

Don't waste your time that could be spend of finishing a story. Imagine if book writers release 5 books and start remastering parts 1-5 instead of focusing on 6th part. Like, wtf?

If no one pays for it you could not download it in a pirate forum. Instead of making statements like that simply enjoy that you're able to get a lot of stuff for free whether you like it or not.

The remastered version looks good but it's very hard to care when you're playing out scenes that first came out fucking years ago.
I found myself just skipping through most of that update, and it was very short anyway, just because we've seen it all before. I might wait until the remastered version catches up to where the old version was and we finally get new stuff, although God knows when that will be.
