Hello friends.
From today our reports will look a little different. I'll leave here a list of all the things we had planned for the first update, but which are still not done as of today. This list is more detailed. We still have a few days until April 4 and we'll try to close as many tasks as possible in those days. I'll do another post on release day with up to date information as of release day so you understand what is still missing, but is planned for the very near future.

Q&A (here I collect the most relevant questions from the comments on the previous post and answer them here):
Will the story and plot be the same as the original version or will it be different?
In general, it will be the same setting, but the logical chain of narration and sequence of events has been significantly improved (in my opinion).
What are the plans for the existing Bonus scenes? Will they be incorporated into the story, remain standalone, or something else?
Some of the bonus scenes will be reworked and placed in the main story. With the other part I haven't decided how to proceed yet, most likely they will be publicly available. With the release of the remaster - I'm giving up the idea of two versions of the game (with and without bonus scenes), there will be only one version that includes all the content. Bonus scenes we no longer do and do not plan to, we'd rather focus on the main characters story scenes to speed up the development of the game.
Any questions you have, ask in the comments and I will answer them in the next progress report.

Guess they're already looking for excuses when this half finished unneccessary remake gets released with actual no new content/progress.

there is a chance this could happen but i do have some hope its decent only cause the preview renders seem good , the dev has been doing transparent communication regulary and is getting rid of the 2 version system.

Believe me, nothing would make me happier than seeing an actual good version of Amnesia with focus on storytelling and relationships etc. The art is already amongst the best this site has to offer (yes I even prefer it over the Dr.). But it's really tough to have faith. Maybe I need to keep my expecations that low so that there is an actual chance of getting positively surprised.

I think the smart thing to do is not download the first version of the remake, but the second version when they've fixed everything. personally, I'll do it that way
