Click on the green magnifying glasses in the questlog and you get exact hints. The saw is in the carpentry.

You are using an OLD walkthrough, It will be of limited use for the "REMASTERED" game.

Copy attached rpy-file to "game" folder, start the game, load save and use Shift+O.
Or, if using URM, just hit Alt+O.

On Sunday, the dev said "hopefully, everything will be ready next week" so I wouldn't expect one this week. Progress reports come out on Sundays, but game releases could be any day of the week. The last update released on a Tuesday. Given this and how unreliable adult VN devs tend to be, I give it a 20% chance of the update releasing on or before Saturday, May 24.
