Well, that’s a shame. The AI slop is back, and in my opinion it looks absolutely awful and completely lacks the aesthetic that used to be the game’s biggest selling point. It feels generic, not unique, and totally out of place. It really strips Amnesia of the very last bit of character it had left.
And putting that aside—this was the highly hyped second star scene? Absolutely nothing happens, and it even feels like a step backwards compared to the scenes Elena already had. If I compare this to Alexandra’s second star scene, this is basically nothing at all. Is it possible that the higher the star ranking gets, the more pointless the scenes become instead of the other way around?
Overall, I honestly don’t understand why this single scene took so long, was hyped up so massively by Alex, and then turned out to be 100% AI. I expected to be disappointed, but somehow they even managed to top that disappointment. Wow…
