Because of stupid marketing.
4k UHD=3840x2160p they just rounded 3.8k so its 4k
3kQHD=2560x1440p it should be like 2.5k but yeah dont let marketing name your first born.
2k FHD=1920x1080p again 1.9k rounded to 2k
HD=720p
Marketing, it all comes back to the geniuses at marketing

2048×1080 or 1920×1080
2.5K for 2500 pixel wide formats, like 2560×1440 or 2400×1350
4K for 4000 pixel wide formats, like 4096×2160 or 3840×2160 etc.

Or we could just stick to established and easily understood nomenclature.. 720p, 1080p, 1440p, 2160p
I've literally only this past year (maybe 2) seen anyone use "2k" as a resolution - and it varies whether they mean 1080p or 1440p with it... because it's NOT a standard.
'Technically' "4k" is wrong too, but it's so widely understood to mean 3840x2160 these days that you can get away with it.

Looking up the word, it seems to mean "altered" and it's time frame does fit with when the alternate version was released, so it could be it, guess we got to download to find out

I don't know which is which because it's a bit confusing as to which this whole conversation is referring to, but as far as interpolation, that means that I took the original video which was at 24-30 frames per second and used an AI program to basically increase that up to 48-60 frames per second. The videos should look smoother, and if you like that sort of thing, that's cool. However, because AI isn't omniscient and perfect, the process of making it smoother can introduce just a bit of glitchiness in specific circumstances. Ultimately it's up to you if you prefer the original videos or the interpolated ones based on your own tastes.
His futa videos are great, but his not futa babe + female are not good.
