followup-cutscene? fuckballs.I am trying to play this game for the first time and for some reason I cannot find Wes on the first day. Which means I cannot advance the game since I cannot visit the mayor's house I am assuming (I am using the walkthru). I get the harpy cutscene then the follow-up harpy scene when I try to leave. Still have the harpy quest, no Wes cutscene as far as I can tell. When I get to village I there is no one else to interact with and can't sleep. Tried to debug teleport to the forest. Still nothing. Idk.
So the first two versions of this scene do in fact just end quickly after you hit the down arrow during the keyhole part. The last time when you go into the room being the exception. So this as described is OK. if it's doing anything OTHER then move on from the scene that would be a problem.Another bug I encountered was Liss and her cutscenes where you peer thru the lock hole in the church. The whole thing kinda fast forwards once you press the down arrow. Interaction still happens and sneak goes up, but just end up outside escorted by the priest who starts on screen but disappears. Forgot to make save for that.
There is already one scene like this in game, see the josie and centaur scene for ataian and then ask him for a ride home.any chance allen gets to service the centaurs in the future?
just so you know halfway throught the ataian scene allen drops down amd starts sucking a ghost dick insteadSo the first two versions of this scene do in fact just end quickly after you hit the down arrow during the keyhole part. There is going to be a similar scene for Kasa in the next update (2.4, barring any complications) and then chaska as well when I get around to it. Josie and allen will work together in this endeavor as well, teamwork makes dreams cum true.
No, not for this game concept. If i ever do tackle a short side game with his sister Amy or what his mom is doing in the capitol those games would definitely have combat, its more a mater of character and tone then anything else. Also, there is 0% chance I even look in those side-game directions until this is fully done, not falling into that trap lol.Are you planning to implement a combat system in the game?
So, did the homework, secured a fast monitor environment to test on and pretty sure this has been resolved, attached is a new "package.json" file. If you (or some other observer reading this who has the same issue) could do me a favor and try this out by replacing the existing file in the root "AnAlchemistsTale" folder (right where the game .exe is) and try grabbing a slipshroom.nice work on the updates, glad this game is still going. i think i found it on v0.2, its been pretty good. the one thing that's bothering the fuck out of me is the mushroom gathering mini-games, the time to do them is too fucking short. I always get close to the end if I don't fuck up but lose on the last few because the timer runs out. they need to be 3-4 seconds more than they are now to not be a headache. the timer might be faster on my shit because of frame rate stuff, but adding an option to remove the minigame entirely or to give a lesser amount if you fail would be great. nothing more frustrating than failing and having to wait 3 game days to try again.
Except this one, this one you can't win. It's a story beat.is there actually a way to beat Zeleshi or does it just loop the arrow challenge?
For once I'm glad my pc isn't the fastest because the only one I had to focus on was the snake. But I played god of war as a kid so I trained for that lol.So, did the homework, secured a fast monitor environment to test on and pretty sure this has been resolved, attached is a new "package.json" file. this fix forces the game to max out at 60fps, which is what it's supposed to do. and as a result fixes all of the timers. you might also notice improvements to sfx and other graphical things as a result.
I have the odd feeling this little QOL fix will clean up a lot of the general complaints as at the correct speeds the minigames are really quite easy.
For funsies I Loaded a backup of O.G. 0.1 to see the origional minigames the fast environment and BOIOHBOI that was fucking hilarious. I'm so sorry to the MVP's to played those builds on a fast monitor. They where hard in the normal speed and fucking stupid at fast.

Wes gives the witchwood right? I think you just go to his house and they will be there once you knock on the door. His house is adjacent to yours and next to the river(you have to go down the stairs if coming from your house).I cant find the witchwood in the west part, can someone tell me where is it.

Edit: unless I'm remembering wrong and you meet him while he is chopping wood but I think my first thought is right.
