I believe they mostly infer they want Sex SFX, not the mundane stuff.
Usually the sex SFX in games are terrible and would be better without. Also, often so loud the neighbors will think you're watching cheap porn.
Ah, the “dubbing” of moaning women... I always find it extremely awkward, even more so when it's the same dubbing used in several different games.

for me I like sex sounds but none of the moaning just the sound effects of a dick being sucked or her getting pounded without the moans etc etc. A few games ive played does this and I love it but moans I 100% hate. Now not something that needs to be done it's just a nice extra detail when it is.

I do in fact love the little sound effects, a door opening or closing, little step sounds or cars passing by on the street. That kind of things give some life and motion to the renders. I understand that they require dev time, tuning and research though. It's something that is really present in mangas that I appreciate. They have symbols for all the little sounds and are using them all the time. Something less present in western comics. (I didn't learn why the translation I read as a kid had so much big words everywhere in the panels before some time.) VNs are a special medium, you can add those sound to the story directly no need to write them down. I just feel it's a waste not to use the opportunity. And let's face it sex sounds add to the allure of a scene too. And I'm not talking about the moaning , I agree with Dessolos on that. And when it's bad it's also sadly verry noticeable like an old truck engine sound that's as strong as the music and doesn't even loop properly to represent a modern car sound.
I would prefer more sounds in VN but the work needed for that is not free either so I make due with what is offered.
Also a silent baby is verry weird depending on the age, but again in an Adult VN I understand why you would not want to give a child to much presence.

I'm still working on the project, but I have less free time at the moment so it's progressing more slowly than usual.

As a free loader I am partial to pubes on my 3D characters. Without, it feels incomplete.
To elaborate. A woman trimming her pubes or shaving them altogether in a game feels off. There is never stubs in the region or a rebel hair left. It's as if an asset was missing rather than the characters taking care of their body. I must say I have the same impression with most shaved heads too. With some having no real skull shape only looking like a half sphere to put the hair asset over. To go back to the pubes, yes a woman could be waxing or get it lazered, but in that case I have the impression that it should be mentioned at some point. And Saint is making some cute natural and sexy bushes that feel more there than a simple tuff printed on the skin I find it fun to look at.

Yeah understand what you you are saying and I was just saying there’s been quite a few games that have/had some hairy pussy or even some pubic hair and the next update all of it has been gone for no reason is all I was saying so for me I am a hairy pussy/bush lover and for the games just to get rid of it for no reason leaves a sour taste in my mouth. I'll answer for them (even if this isn't necessarily the reason why they stop using pubic hair):
This is probably a technical limitation that they discovered once the game was already well into development (making it difficult to go back).
Pubic hair is a problem with Daz 3D; it doesn't “stick” to the skin, so when the vagina looks normal, it's fine, but as soon as you want to do a close-up of penetration (second image below), you have a big “realism” problem.
The hairs do not move with the labia majora, giving the impression that the hairs are inside the vagina...

I just think that developers are opting for simplicity by simply removing pubic hair to avoid any future complications. Personally, I'll keep the pubic hair, but there won't be any close-ups of Veronica's vagina (or any other characters with pubic hair on their labia).
Unless there is a solution to fix this, but I haven't found anything online that mentions this issue or how to fix it.
Another reason is most guys prefer shaved or at the very least trimmed. Most of us don't like if she looks like she has Larry from the 3 Stooges in a headlock using her legs...

of course this is just me and my personal opinion. But I think there is a case for both shaved , trimmed and a bush. I don't really care either way personally what matters to me is if I feel like a character having a bush , a trim or whatever matches their character.
I forget who has a bush trimmed etc right now but for now this is how I see it.
the FMC and her mother makes sense with a bush
the pornstar sister shaved or trimmed but I would say shaved makes more sense to me.
the younger sister trimmed.
FMC, being young, makes more sense as trimmed or shaved. On the other hand, I know women in their late 40s/early 50s who refer to the other way as "all hairy and nasty."

only reason id disagree about the FMC and have a different opinion on it is because her character is more of the innocent naive type. So I don't see a character like that shaving until she is corrupted more if at all. But honestly doesn't matter to me whatever the dev decides to do , as I like the game alot.
wrong shaving have nothing to do with 70-80,it is a cliche.It is up to each woman and how confortable she is with.

The shaving pubes fashion was started by the porn industry that wanted to have a better view of the action on camera. Considering the resolution of cathodic TVs that makes sense. With today's resolution on TVs, computer screens and even phones, shaving everything makes less sense if we consider only those reasons. We can say that today it's really purely a fashion thing.
An other thing to consider with that is that it's not only the males who are consuming porn even if only indirectly. In a more conservative environment that shun to the point of making it taboo anything that touches sex having everyone be bushy makes more sense. Except maybe for a swimmer.

how I see it a innocent naive girl doesn't really think about sex in away someone that is free spirted or corrupted is. To me the innocent girl especially one the grew up religious like the one in this game would be less prone to do something like shave in my mind.
