The shaving pubes fashion was started by the porn industry that wanted to have a better view of the action on camera. Considering the resolution of cathodic TVs that makes sense. With today's resolution on TVs, computer screens and even phones, shaving everything makes less sense if we consider only those reasons. We can say that today it's really purely a fashion thing.

An other thing to consider with that is that it's not only the males who are consuming porn even if only indirectly. In a more conservative environment that shun to the point of making it taboo anything that touches sex having everyone be bushy makes more sense. Except maybe for a swimmer.

i don't see link between shaving and corruption

how I see it a innocent naive girl doesn't really think about sex in away someone that is free spirted or corrupted is. To me the innocent girl especially one the grew up religious like the one in this game would be less prone to do something like shave in my mind. But once she becomes corrupted and starts to do more and more sexual things , she may or may not shave just to show she has changed , me more desired or something unless she likes it as is.

In Veronica's case, she's just lazy about it. She doesn't mind having pubic hair and doesn't see the point of shaving it off (it's a waste of time, grows back quickly and itches when it does). What's more, it doesn't bother Nathan, so it's all to the good for her.

No need to explain for Helena (the mother), it wouldn't make sense if she were shaved.

Maria (the little sister) has her pubic hair trimmed because she doesn't like it “spilling out” of her panties or bikini. But seeing V naked will inspire her to let it all grow out. She'll keep her current pubic hair until almost the end of the game, the time it takes for it to grow back, you know.

Sarah (the older sister) is the only one who is completely waxed. In her corrupted route she'll keep it, but in the pure route she may well let it grow back. Once again, this will only become apparent towards the end of the game.

I actually hate that because there is to much variety of choices there makes me thing gonna make dev time too long cause of the branching on something stupid like public hair. I think there was like 5 or 6 options. should of been 2 or 3 if at all

was talking about the game you were talking about not this one and that choice has nothing to do with plot. But anyways we shouldn't talk about that game here. I was only making 1 post about it.

There is a way to render only part of a render. I think the add on for Daz is called sex patch or something similar. An other dev was talking about it. It can be used to render only the pubes, so you don't have to actually render everything when you chose to give the players option. It save up on render times. It can also be used for other things like making a character blink or if you are programing savvy enough, you could do piercings and tattoos too and allow for a big number of combination without having to render each individually. I don't know If Saint is aware of that particular add on for Daz hence why I'm mentioning it. It could give the player a bit more control over what is shown when especially when V is concerned without, in some case, too much added workload. I also suspect that JcoA is using something similar to offer so much options.
