I'm fine with artists using a lot of time to ensure quality, but I really don't understand why he keeps insisting on setting deadlines if meeting them is a struggle. Wouldn't it be better for his own sake to just say "it's done when it's done" and not keep pushing back the date?

Fewer people would keep their pledge up if they knew the video wasn't going to be released for a couple weeks/months later. He has a habit of milking his patrons with "unexpected complications" that keep pushing releases just ever so slightly into the next month
