Making a game isnt the same as making an animations. Look at Studio FOW and their Subverse. Before deciding to make a game they were releasing a few big animations per year. And now after switching to do Subverse we got no new episodes for 3.5 years, and game is at best 50% done, and its not even looking that great, with most scenes basically a loop animations and content is more tame & less degenerate.

I would rather have 1-2 ~30 min episodes per year from Animo than no new episodes for years and a half-baked game.
yea idk why ppl keep asking for games when they take longer and have less content than scheduled releases of videos

ehm subverse launched less than a year ago, also they released one additional episode since then iirc, you got your numbers wrong
also animo pretty constantly pushes out not 1-2 but exactly 1 30 min episode per year

Kickstarter date for Subverse was ~april-may 2019 and they showed some game footage there so they already did some work on it in 2019 and probably even in 2018.
Latest movie on their movies page is:
KUNOICHI 3: DARK BUTTERFLY
RELEASE DATE: DECEMBER 14TH, 2018
In 2020 there was a "Project snow", a 12 min animation with a "Test Footage" mark that you can find on the webs and not on their website, probably because its not even worth being there, for comparison their usual episodes were 20-30+ mins long so its a good indicator that you cant develop a game and release a long high quality animations at the same time.

Imagine how many full lengths episodes they could put out in those 3 years, even at 30 mins a year that would been a 1.5+ hours of animations that we will never get now. Would Subverse be worth it when it finally releases? I fear it wont be and i dont want to see same thing happening to another content creator that i love.

I really hate arguing with people on internet, its pointless and waste of everybody's time, and yet its exactly what im doing right now

lol why the hell do you call their movies as episodes? episodes of what lol, you got me confused here because i was thinking about episodes of their game, which is exactly how it is delivered - through small portions of content, and we've got release version, one episode and another one coming soon.
will the amount of porn content be comparable to their movie schedule? absolutely fucking not lmao, but its a trade-off between this and interactivity (plus games make more money, if we look from fow's pov), to each their own

Either way it's a waste of talent for him to be working on a game. Have someone else make the gameplay, deal with all the bugs, balancing issues, compatibility, etc. and only do the sex scenes personally. Otherwise he's going to spend months working on something he has zero experience in, when he could be making porn.

lol his game is nothing but a sidekick between btq releases which sreves the only purpose - to rest a bit before doing animations again. like come on this thing goes for how long? at least 3 years and there is still nothing concrete to show

you are comparing cheap ass SFM animators with a good and competent animator my friend. Animo is on another lvl
