So 971 is the worst version so far because you can't use old saves,

I had to read this a few times before realizing you were using "vs" for "version" instead of "versus." I searched "sandbox vs vn" hoping to find an explanation of the differences, cause I don't wanna download one and find out certain content can only be found in the other version. lolWhat a mess with these updates.
The Sandbox version is this Chapter 2 v0.8
The question is if i download this vs will i get a new update right. and the content of vs VN(Ch.2v0.71) will also be added or I will have to download all versions!!! I don't know why make it so complicated. This game when it was rpg was great then it went to renpy and became this dolly.
Well it's obvious why you can't use old saves. They've made big changes to the phone function. And since so much of Chapter 2 is dependant on the phone, it was inevitable that old saves were likely to be compromised. I think the phone function was behind most of the problems we've had in recent updates, that were becoming progressively worse. Hence the decision to overhaul this part of the game. Hopefully, this will be the last big overhaul of functionality required going forward.There are saves on the OP.

If people want to make there own choices, then the only way forward is to start again. Cos obviously using the save provided is not going to achieve that. That was obvious to me from the moment the Devs said old saves wouldn't work anymore. There are many games that have made big changes to functionality part way through. And in every instance it's necessary to begin again, if you want the MC to follow a particular route through the game. There is really no easier way to get around that issue.
It's likely to be a quite some time. My guess it will be when the Chapter 2 download gets too big ( 4-5 GB). Probably about 18 months to 2 years from now.
It's quite common for Devs to change functionality in the middle of games, requiring a restart. There is literally no way around that kind of issue, if you want the MC to follow a particular path. Remember this isn't caused by a change to content, but a change to the basic function which affects every aspect of the game. Once that becomes necessary, then old saves automatically become problematic, because they rely on the old functionality which no longer exists.
I know this is very frustrating. I had 6 different routes set up for this game, and I will have to repeat them all from the beginning again if I wish to continue with them. But that's just the way it is. Sometimes it's necessary for Devs to make major changes to their games, because not doing anything would eventually break the game completely. Hopefully, this will be the last time this will be necessary (but don't quote me on that).
This is still my favourite game, despite all the issues it has had during Chapter 2 ( which have given me as many moments of exasperation, as I'm sure they've given to you and others). However, I believe the Devs will get it right eventually, because I know they are both absolutely passionate about this project, and feel all these failings far more keenly than you or me. Awake has already admitted that he made major coding errors early on in Chapter 2, that were not discovered until months after they were made .
As I've explained on previous occasions, this is understandable because he was intially brought into the game purely as a writer and not to deal with technical stuff. But Deep decided to give him more responsibility, in an attempt to speed up new updates ( which hasn't so far happened, because of having to deal with the issues caused by those early errors). So he's pretty much been learning coding from scratch, as he went along. And he made a few mistakes, which have caused a lot of issues. And all these changes in recent updates are an attempt to put these right.
The problem is, when you make errors in the basic functionality, it's very difficult to retrospectively correct them. Because after a few updates, it pretty much affects all the content in the game. So just tinkering around with the game doesn't solve those issues anymore. And you have to change all the faulty functionality, or the game will eventually break completely. And that's why old saves don't work. Because they rely on something, that has been removed from the game completely.

I don't think it will be her grandfather. Because in Hard Exam, when Sophie initially suggests that Mr Thompson is interested in having sex with Anna. She scoffs at the thought, and replies that he's too old to be doing anything sexual ( typical teenage logic that people over a certain age don't do sex). So if she had lost her virginity to her grandfather, why would she believe that? And it's obvious in Hard Exam that she's already had sex, several times at least.Thanks 4 the weekly update share Sorrow!
So... is it her Grandpa that is the one who took her cherry or will he and Becca only tell Anna about the flower and the bee with yet another character that is the real "taker"? Probably the latter one since incest/family will be a hard one to publish on Patreon..
And it wasn't with Andrew either, because Hard Exam 2 changes the narrative, and suggests that her and Andrew have not started dating yet. So it will probably be a character we haven't met yet. But maybe her grandfather will finally put in an appearance. Hopefully, we'll get to see her dad as well and a younger Rebecca before she moved to Sun City, and probably Emily as well ( she was Anna's BFF at school).

I really, really, really hate getting this far in a game and having to start over. EVERY game that has forced me to do this has ended up in my recycle bin never to be downloaded again. Sigh.... I enjoyed this game....

There are 2 save files in the OP, dev provided. It starts with this update and has 2 paths for you to choose from, all previous content from those saves is also unlocked.
