Hello everyone, yesterday I downloaded Chapter 1 for Win, and the game crashes a lot. Especially when it comes to scenes, I try to skip some scenes, then my screen goes black and it kicks me out of the game. Does anyone have a solution how to fix this? Thank you all and happy new year.

How many times do I have to repeat, I don't have a particular path, because I play everything. You just don't listen Stanford. You just keep waffling on, claiming I'm saying this and that, when I never said anything of the sort. All I said was Madison is currently Jeremy's PA, and not Anna as you initially tried to make out. All this about Madison being over Anna in the company, is entirely your misinterpretation of what PA actually means. A personal assistant even to the company boss, is not usually higher in a company hierarchy than one it's managers. There can occasionally be exceptions to this rule. But in most instances (including this one) a PA is lower on the food chain, than the manager of a department (Anna's current position)In my path Jeremy is the CEO and he is alive

You believing that the path you've decided to follow through the game, is the game's 'main path', is the actual fantasy. Because there is no longer, any such thing, except in your imagination. If you want to believe it's the main path, then that's up to you, but it doesn't make it so for everyone else. Because all the paths through this game are equally valid. I enjoy the Jeremy alive path, just as much as I enjoy the Jeremy dead path. And I like playing Anna as a submissive character, as well as playing her as a somewhat more dominant character.
It seems to me, you just can't get your head around the Devs deciding to expand the game as it progressed. And this idea you have that you're on the 'main path', is about following the game as it was initially set up. Many games evolve the further we get into them, and the Dev's initial more simplified structure is expanded to include newer elements. This is especially the case, where games are financed by patrons, because the Dev is honour bound to take their needs and desires into consideration, when further developing the game. So whatever this game started out as, is no longer relevant. And the original linear route through the game or the 'main path' as you like to call it, has been superceded by multiple routes, none of which have any precedence over the others.

There is no hole in the script, at least not there anyway. Ethan is the CEO of the company, after Jeremy's death.
In Chapter 2, the office was completely reorganised, so no Madison is not occupying the same desk that Anna did. Madison has the same job, that Anna held during Chapter 1. Namely, she is either Jeremy or Ethan's PA.
Is this all you can come up with, to troll the thread today? Maybe like a lot of other people, he's just been having a break over Christmas and the New Year? But I guess Devs are not allowed that luxury, as far as you're concerned?

I misunderstood because it was my understanding that you said that it was Madison who took Jeremy's place. Maybe it was an oversight on my part.
Anyway I think you deliberately misunderstood my posts.... because I don't write fantasies about the plot of this game...and in my opinion the fact that the CEO of Jercomp is now Hetan just doesn't make any sense ... IMO
... Ethan is not Jeremy's relative... is he his brother? ..or anyway if he is I've never seen it written anywhere

No idea what to do.
When I go to work, there is nothing I can do.
I can't advance the day (it's Wednesday for me) because that boyfriend is laying in bed (he came home from the hospital recently) either.
I can't message or call anyone, I can't talk to anyone and I can't do anything in any place.
At first I thought it might have been the end of the episode I was playing (16 I think), but now I'm in EP18 and still can't progress.
Any ideas?

Am I the only one who finds it strange that Andrew never suspected Anna, that he never noticed what she had become? Anna fucks with everyone and his close people, films porn and takes pictures for magazines, and he still thinks she's a saint. The devs made him a total idiot, when I see a scene with him I feel bad even though it's a game.
I've no idea what he's doing, I just know what I do over the Christmas and New Year period, and assume that possibly he's doing the same. I doubt there are many patrons who begrudge the Devs, a bit of a holiday over this period. In fact, it seems that it's mainly the ones who don't pay, who act in the most entitled manner.
But Jeremy doesn't own the company anymore. Yes, he initially founded it. But since then other wealthier partners (like Burnfield) have come on board, and they now own most of the Stock. Jeremy still runs the company, and up till now the Partners have given him a free hand, because he makes them a lot of money. But ultimately, it's no longer his company, even if he acts like it is. Ethan was one of the other Partners who actually worked for the company, in a senior management position, besides Jeremy and Liam. When Jeremy dies, Ethan and Anna use the information off Jeremy's computer (that she had Timothy decrypt) regarding Jeremy and Liam's fraudulent activities, to get Liam removed from the company. That meant that Ethan was now the senior manager left in the company, and the next in line to take over from Jeremy.Thank you for you answer

Ethan quickly realised what an asset Anna could be to the company, and although he seems to be as equally attracted to Anna as Jeremy, and quite prepared to use her sexual attractiveness, to further the company goals, he's not a douchebag like Jeremy and Liam, and prefers to use financial incentives, rather than blackmail and intimidation, to persuade Anna. He has a much closer working relationship with her, and appears to be grooming her to take a much more prominent position in the company.
Judging, by how they acted together at the Corporate Event, I would say that Ethan seems to be quite attracted to Madison, and she appears interested in him. I wonder if they'll become an item, before the end of the game?
Yeah, Andrew is an idiot, there's no argument about that. And Deep made him like that deliberately, so players wouldn't feel so bad about Anna cheating on him repeatedly. I know it's been years for us, but for Andrew it's only been a few weeks, and he still sees Anna as the pure, somewhat naive country girl, that she started the game as. He just doesn't believe that Anna is capable of behaving like that, and probably he doesn't want to believe that she is, so it's really easy for him to discount any discrepancies, he might observe from his perfect, saintly view of her.
As regards the porn and magazine pics. Well it hasn't been very long since she started doing it, only about 5 weeks for the magazine pics and 3 weeks for the porn. So far she's only been seen in one magazine, and none of her porn videos have been released yet. So it would be really easy for Andrew, not to know anything about that. He also appears to be very unobservant anyway, hence his inability to recognise Anna from behind, when he stumbled on some of her camshow material, or when he saw her at the Cosplay event, very lightly disguised.

You wrote everything perfectly. In my opinion, it would be better if the Devs opened his eyes a little, to make the game much more interesting. The fact that he could never recognize the person he has been in a relationship with for so long is stupid to me.
Even while Anna was having sex with John, he was standing at the door and could not recognize his girlfriend's movements, voice, body, hair and everything else. And after that she comes to his room naked and Andrew tells her that John is having sex with his girlfriend. He's a big idiot, I feel sorry for him.

Surely if I am the founder of a company and I make money by making my partners rich it seems natural that I should act like the owner and the partners will never complain.... because Jeremy is the founder!!!
But that's the great thing about the path where Jeremy is alive and Anna agrees to be submissive to him...because the day when trouble comes for Jeremy it will be Anna who takes the driver's seat. (Ethan is nobody)
And then in a story where Anne becomes the Mafia boss dealing cocaine all over Sun City with the support of FBI agent Silva...what does it matter if Jeremy plays illegal games with his company's accounts...It will be Anne alone who will fix everything both in Sergey's organization even at Jercomp
As I said “Anna submissive” is actually the path that will reveal the foresight of our heroine who will become the empress of Sun City
I consider this to be the main path that most closely matches the story described in Chapter 1
The path where Anna is without Jeremy and without Sergey is boring--how can you say mine is not the main path?
Ethan is a nobody in my path, and this fact that, as you said, there is an Ethan who helps Anna to become manager, weakens Anna's power as empress and winning protagonist against a macho society that always assigns men the positions of power... (Ethan is a male)!!!
that is why definitively Jeremy's path alive places Anna in an absolutely winning position...it is she alone who wins over everything in town despite the blackmail she only seemingly seems to be subjected to but, she as an intelligent female manages to single-handedly take advantage of it by overturning in her favor the events that seem to be losing to her...that is the strength of Anna's heroic character...
She conquers all by subverting all the predictions that see her as the underdog....
In fact, I consider Jeremy alive the main path
Of course Mr. Nobody is always attracted to Mrs. Nobody
they are only secondary characters...the main character is Anna...who has affection only for Andrew as he is a loser but, Anna with her actions will put her boyfriend in a winning position....
That is why I follow the main path which includes the cuckold Andrew who thanks to Anna will also become a winner.... Anna wants Andrew to be proud of her even though to become the empress she had to have sex without ever falling in love with anyone else...this a romantic and compelling story

We shall see....In any case this would be the most surprising and certainly the most romantic storyline.
