A quick weekly progress update is here.
Another little spoiler of a scene to come. As Anna has to find more partners to expand her business and find new distributors she will do anything in her powerThis time John will take her for a spin and introduce her to some of his friends. Some of you might remember them from Chapter 1. Anyway, Anna is dressed to impress them and get what she wants
I want to apologize but I decided to postpone the Bar's scene this time as it's planned to be quite long and some other scenes need to be squeezed in too to move the plot forward.
I'm glad of the progress and most renders, so I also aim to release the update at the end of November or early December.

He's grown on me, as the game has developed. He's a bad boy, but he's not all bad. The back story shows us, that Anna's initial hostility towards him, was entirely because he refused to give in, to the teenage crush she had on him. Other older men took advantage of her teenage innocence, but John didn't. Which proves there's a good guy hiding in there. He tells Anna about his ex-wife and how her death affected him and Andrew deeply. Andrew is the way he is, because he lost his mom at an early age. Whilst John's philandering ways are likely due to a fear of falling in love, and then losing that loved one?

Wow. Looks like the bikers from the end of Season 1 will be making a reappearance. One of my favourite scenes from Season 1. Love that new outfit. Anna makes such a good biker bitch.Weekly update

And indeed, at the end of the scene, the bikers mention to Anna that if she has any problems, they can help her.

I don't know if John is respectful of Andrew just because he didn't take advantage of Anna some time ago.... certainly the trauma of losing his mother is much greater for Andrew who was the son, while for John having lost his wife is a lesser trauma. For sure Anna fucked in HardExam with the professor, the janitor and the principal and also the principal's friends in Christmas Gift... so she got used to fuck with the “old guys” for scholarship... to me it doesn't seem that dad John is so respectful of his son since he fucks his daughter-in-lawAnna in the hospital bed where Andrew is in coma to in the bedroom while Andrew is sleeping... and even inseminates her without any respect. ... this is much more grave than getting banged by an old guy like Patrick or the old professors
As usual you are talking about backstories that were never described in the various versions of the game and that only you seem to know about, with the aim of putting yourself above others as if on a platform of superiority that I can't accept and will never accept

be careful there are more paths in this game and khantus is playing both paths (Main path and the one when some day Anna will leave Andrew)
While I am not sure if Zara follows the main path of CH1 ... she tends to justify everyone except Andrew
But yes khantus is really talking about the bikers that Anna fucked in public in the pub

I can officially confirm the story is getting on path to nowhere

John certainly isn't perfect. But then who is, in this game? Most of the characters, apart from maybe Timothy and his friends, appear to be flawed in some way. So John's in good company.
John like, all the other characters in the game, most of the players and the Devs themselves, believes that Andrew is (currently at least) a very poor match for Anna. We all know you think they are perfect together, but you're part of an extremely small minority. So John sleeping with Anna, behind Andrew's back, is viewed very differently by most of the people who play this game. Who see it as his just rewards, for being an even bigger asshole himself.
Regardless of that, John definitely loves his son. He contributed 20k to Andrew's operation, and on many other occasions he's cleaned up the messy situations that Andrew's reckless actions have gotten him into. Anna herself told John that Andrew could always depend on his dad, to help him. But if the situations were reversed, she didn't think John could depend on his son.
The backstory I was referring to, is part of the main game. It occurs when John and Anna visit Andrew in hospital together. If you don't wanna accept that, because it contradicts you're own peculiar theories, well that's up to you. We all know, you never let a little thing like the truth, get in the way of your 'perfect logic'.

John is still a piece of shit in my eyes and I don't like him but at the end of the day I somehow like him more than his son Andrew
Most of the people who comment on this thread, only ever say negative things about Andrew. I'm only ever fair about him as a character. I just don't share your belief that him and Anna are perfect together. She could easily do much better than him, because virtually every male character in this game, is a better man than him overall. And that's saying something in a game awash with villains, perverts, assholes and creeps.
Andrew obviously loves Anna, and he's certainly helped her in the past. But that doesn't make him the perfect partner for her, as you seem to believe. He's also very immature a lot of the time, takes Anna for granted, doesn't do his fair share of the chores and coasts along relying on Anna to make all the decisions and earn most of their money. Let's face it, Anna is his new mommy. That's what she has to look forward to, in any relationship between the two of them.
John is certainly well down my list of favourite characters in the game. Whereas Andrew is currently near the bottom. Even emperor assholes Jeremy, Schmitt and Patrick rank above him. At least they are interesting, whilst Andrew is the God of blandness, as well as being a feckless idiot and useless in bed.
