John certainly isn't perfect. But then who is, in this game? Most of the characters, apart from maybe Timothy and his friends, appear to be flawed in some way. So John's in good company.

John like, all the other characters in the game, most of the players and the Devs themselves, believes that Andrew is (currently at least) a very poor match for Anna. We all know you think they are perfect together, but you're part of an extremely small minority. So John sleeping with Anna, behind Andrew's back, is viewed very differently by most of the people who play this game. Who see it as his just rewards, for being an even bigger asshole himself.

Regardless of that, John definitely loves his son. He contributed 20k to Andrew's operation, and on many other occasions he's cleaned up the messy situations that Andrew's reckless actions have gotten him into. Anna herself told John that Andrew could always depend on his dad, to help him. But if the situations were reversed, she didn't think John could depend on his son.

The backstory I was referring to, is part of the main game. It occurs when John and Anna visit Andrew in hospital together. If you don't wanna accept that, because it contradicts you're own peculiar theories, well that's up to you. We all know, you never let a little thing like the truth, get in the way of your 'perfect logic'.

Most of the people who comment on this thread, only ever say negative things about Andrew. I'm only ever fair about him as a character. I just don't share your belief that him and Anna are perfect together. She could easily do much better than him, because virtually every male character in this game, is a better man than him overall. And that's saying something in a game awash with villains, perverts, assholes and creeps.

Andrew obviously loves Anna, and he's certainly helped her in the past. But that doesn't make him the perfect partner for her, as you seem to believe. He's also very immature a lot of the time, takes Anna for granted, doesn't do his fair share of the chores and coasts along relying on Anna to make all the decisions and earn most of their money. Let's face it, Anna is his new mommy. That's what she has to look forward to, in any relationship between the two of them.

Another little spoiler of a scene to come. As Anna has to find more partners to expand her business and find new distributors she will do anything in her power This time John will take her for a spin and introduce her to some of his friends. Some of you might remember them from Chapter 1. Anyway, Anna is dressed to impress them and get what she wants Some of you might remember this outfit from Wallpaper I made a long time ago

I want to apologize but I decided to postpone the Bar's scene this time as it's planned to be quite long and some other scenes need to be squeezed in too to move the plot forward.

I'm glad of the progress and most renders, so I also aim to release the update at the end of November or early December.

Yeah, not sure that you know what you're talking about. So you say losing a spouse is less traumatic than a child losing his mother, huh? Never lost yours, huh? John lost his partner AND the mother of his child, whom he expected to share in watching him grow, raising and teaching him about life. I lost mine 25 years ago and the trauma is Still with me. It's tough to get over losing your spouse when you have children to see about as well. It amazes me how cavalier people can be about someone else's trauma until it happens to them. John is as traumatized as Andrew and neither has been shown to have had any grief counseling to deal with loss. I think the portrayal of John is spot on for someone who hasn't dealt with his grief properly.
