It's a very linear game. You just need to follow the quest log and you won't have any problems

Let's take a look at the facts (in total chapters 1+2): The MC changes more and more from an insecure, clueless and reserved person to an ice-cold femme fatale, who is well aware of her effect on the environment and unscrupulously uses her "negotiation skills" (her body) to her advantage.
In the beginning (chapter 1) the story was, let's say for me, okay. And then came THE key scene par excellence (see the picture in my bio and their question: "Am I building an Empire here?")
Guys, prove me wrong: I don't know that there has ever been a female mafia godfather!
The MC possesses all the necessary qualities for this and, if she does it cleverly (and I assume she will), she will take control of the complete city, under the "serious" guise of the office!
On the 'bad' paths I reckon this is what the Devs intend for the character. Certainly on the Dom 'bad' path, she'll use her body to manipulate weaker characters and build alliances with the stronger ones like Taxman and Sergey. Whereas, on the sub 'bad' path she'll become increasingly depraved and under the complete thrall of her 'condition'
The good paths will ultimately lead to her getting a cure for her condition, and loving relationships. Whereas the 'bad' paths will tend to lead to no relationship, and her rejection of any cure.
The problem with the sandbox is the phone function. That's what is preventing old saves from working, and is presently stopping some people myself included, from progressing any further with that version. At some point during Chapter 2, the Devs made a bit of a mess of that function, and all the problems with the sandbox version stem from that. The VN version doesn't have the phone function, so it's not affected.
Having said that it's not without errors. The scene with Anna, Rebecca and Michael is missed out, if you play the porn shoot scene 'Harsh Treatment' first. Several continuity scenes are misplaced, and other scenes take place without any initial build-up, which might be confusing if you haven't played the sandbox version beforehand. Also on a few days, the scenes are in the wrong order, so on two occasions you get references to it being the middle of the day, with scenes that are immediately prior to evening events.
But I guess these are minor issues, compared to not being able to play at all or use your own saves. The Devs really do have to get to grips with the phone problem. It needs a complete overhaul. Which they've now acknowledged.
She doesn't lose her anal virginity to Sergey. Jeremy was the first person to fuck her in the ass, during the first plane trip, in Chapter 1. And she got double penetrated for the first time by Ron and Leslie, in the Bar toilet.

-I really don't know because I want to stay focused in the storyline... and that phone is not the Anna phone...
I would be very happy to peek into the pictures Anna keeps in her phone ... but that phone is just a functional technical part ... that prevents you from continuing to play ... it doesn't work!
that's why the VN version is the only one I like to play with....

Yeah, I understand it's not for everyone. And that's why the Devs created the VN version, for those people who prefer to just concentrate on the storyline. I don't mind clicking around the map and I feel it and the phone ( when it works) enhances my experience. And I'm not alone, because the majority of patrons prefer the sandbox version. But it's not for everyone, and I think it's good that there's another version. It's certainly allowed me to carry on playing the content, until the Devs find a solution for the issues with the phone function.
