I had the same problem. I ended up going into the config console and issuing this command to move to night:

I played this game several years ago but never finished it, and obviously there has been a lot of content added since.
I'm a little confused though on where to start. I'm not interested in any prequels just the main story. Is part one the old game start? If memory serves I think it started with Anna and her husband arriving in a new town?

There's nothing to suggest another short novel will be released anytime soon. Apart from the first two, all the rest have dropped about 18 months to 2 years apart. The next one is therefore unlikely to be released before 2026, and probably the latter part of that year.

there is a gallery unlock mod to see if there is anything you like to see when it comes out on VN. The scenes from this and the last update were not worth it for me so im waiting for another update cycle.

That's definitely caused by a bug, so no need to invent hysterical conspiracy theories to explain it. I've reported it to Deep, and he's confirmed it was unintentional and he will look into it. Things like this have happened a lot over the years. The Devs are only human and they make mistakes, and if you want them to correct them, jumping to ridiculous conclusions is not helpful.After the last Update...i really have to ask....what the hell is wrong with DEEP?? Is he kinda...broken...or burned out?? This Game is a total mess of Paths and Options....nothing fits together...the Dialogue is all over the Place and fits nothing to my choosen options...! For e.g. i have completley avoided the "Ashley" Path (cause he s just a giant disgusting jerk)...and if Anna choose to go with him and Andrew to the Club...the Dialogie is like that she has worked with him all the time (y know...the Webcam stuff)...but on my Path...Anna has turned him down (earlier in the Game).... Thats just one example...i ve seen several Paths where Deep has totally moxed up the Dialogue....Characters, who Anna has turned down, are acting like some stuff has happend and so on and so on...! Thats not really Quality control...

Finished the game, I'll say that it was honestly an enjoyable ride. ALthough, I didn't rly like the fact that there were 2-3 forced scenes with Andrew. I alrdy knew what I was going for with these type of stories. It's a lot similar to fresh story previously known as Kate. I kinda hope that this follows the same evolution and gives the player more freedom in the 2nd part. Still I found that there were plenty of choices which is honestly surprising since it's a corruption story.
I want to 1st thank the fan who converted it to renpy format for us to enjoy this. Kudos to you mate. It's a bit sad that some convos forget previous choices we made, or that some choices have weird uninteded impact lol. For exemple, if we don't have fun with Tim at the beach when Dian talks abt it's like we did smt. Another one is, if we don't kill jeremy but have a good relationship with Diane Idk why but she acts like a b1tch when she encounters us with Liam. Idk why, is it the fan's "fault" or dev who didn't make a route for this.
Anyway, I tried to go full lesbian while allowing some groping, exhibitionism... You can play through the game without a man's touch apart from Adrew's. In his last scene we don't even need to do anything with him lol. Talking abt Andrew, I have rarely seen such a frustrating character but Ig made him to be that way.
One of the most frustrating thing as a lesbian path player is that I found it quite frustrating that most of the scenes involving potential girl LIs had to involve a guy. The most frustrating one was the Camilla scene during the photoshoot. I was so hyped since she was the 1st girl we could have some actions. I was expecting Dilan to want to join but I also thoiugh we'd have a choice to refuse when he'd try doing so . A bit disappointed dev didn't include that option.
As smn would expect from such a game the ratio gg scene/bg scene is smt like for every 15 bg scene you get 1 gg scene. BUt honestly it's not suprising as Ann is kinda straight and in relationship so I always expect games like these to do most of the ground laying for their 2nd part. I hope it won't disappoint.
It also rly surprised me how the game's renders evolved through the story. it's def a glow up lol
I'll review wether I can put it in my fem protag list depending on chapter 2. Can't wait for some action with Rebecca lol, the teasing was crazy, but I wonder how dev manages it with patreon, did he make a patch? Or he made her dicover that Reb was in fact her "stepsister" instead? Ig I'll see

Since Anna starts the game very much in love with Andrew, why wouldn't she be having sex with him? This is pretty much standard for every game of this type, so I don't really get your criticism. Yeah, I get it, a lot of people hate Andrew and wish Anna could dump him. But she has to actually first realise that perhaps Andrew isn't the one, before she starts thinking about denying him sex.
After those initial scenes, Anna doesn't have sex with Andrew again, or at least she hasn't so far. So it ceases to be an issue, until perhaps you join the other haters, who don't want him in the game at all?
The game was never intended to have a completely lesbian route, and a lot of the girl on girl content only started to be added, once Deep realised there were people who wanted it. So those early mandatory scenes with Andrew, also need to be seen in that context.
I'm afraid the scenes you want with Rebecca are never going to happen. Those scenes earlier in Chapter 1, which seem to suggest future incestuous content between Anna and Rebecca, were made before Patreon changed it's rules on that kind of content. Therefore Anna and Rebecca never go any further, than they do in Chapter 1, and Deep has since made it clear, that they never will. Having said that, Rebecca does play a much bigger role in Chapter 2, than in Chapter 1.

I am guessing there was some kind of issue. As it has been clockwork for the last year and half or more, when it goes to the $15 tier (which is 3 days after BETA), both Sandbox and VN come out. The only thing I can figure is there is something keeping him from releasing the VN version this time, whether that could be errors, something not working right, no idea.
