It has been explained in this thread quite a number of times already, but never mind.
Visual Novel takes you from one location to another without even an illusion of player`s agency, while in sandbox version of this game, you have a map and ability to choose where you go.
But, in this particular case, the difference is negligible, this sandbox is a far cry from open world, and is buggy more often than not. Also, VN saves will not work in sandbox version and vice versa. Double version of the game is just a needless complication of the development process, no real benefit.
My advice, take VN and avoid all those bugs.

Is it safe to download now because on main page it says that there was virus. And does this one also include chapter 1 + Chapter 2 ?

yeah the virus was up for a limited period of time
you can always scan after extracting and upload the exe etc to virustotal

Progress update
Hello, dear Patrons!
A quick progress update on things to come!
The quick novel is out, and I have received some nice comments. I know that some patrons don't like and don't need them, but I need them to take my mind off the main game from time to time. Anyway, I'm back to working on the next update for Anna and have already finished the first scene. Anna will need to find that money, and she will use all means necessary. Anna will have to find more new distributors as well as take on other jobs.
So far, the progress has been great, and I plan on releasing the next update at the beginning of November.
Here you can see another bikini Anna will be wearing and it will be as hot as some of the previous ones, with some bonuses
