So you've checked all the thousands of discussions on Discord? I don't think so. Regardless, the broad direction of this game, is determined by one person, and that's Deepsleep. You know, the guy who wrote Chapter 1, which you were so effusive about. He alone decides how this game progresses, because it's his baby, and 'Awake' who has been the main writer for most of Chapter 2, pretty much just writes what Deep tells him to. I'm guessing Deep listens to his opinions, just as he listens to the opinions of patrons. But the final decision is always his, and if he doesn't want it in the game, then it doesn't get in the game. If patrons had so much power, Andrew would already be history. It was Deep's decision to keep him in the game, because Andrew has always been a key component of his core plan.
Deep always listens to the patrons and tries to implement as many of their views as possible. But most of the game, is how he wants it, with some input from his co-dev. So polls can only have so much influence on what he does. And if patrons don't like where he's taking the game, they'll vote with their money. But they haven't done that in any significant numbers, so the only logical inference, is that most patrons are happy with the direction of Chapter 2.
