For some reason, the sandbox version still doesn't work for me, even with a brand new laptop with much higher specs. I believe it has something to do with Windows 11, and probably because I have it configured in a way that is some way incompatible with the sandbox version of this game, which causes issues like the one you've mentioned? At least that's what the Devs and people on Microsoft forums think. Unfortunately, I've still got no idea what part of Windows 11 is causing the issue, but I suspect it's something I wouldn't want to dispense with anyway. So yeah, it looks like I'm stuck with the VN version (at least until Windows 12 is released) even though I'd prefer to play the sandbox version.

Now, I'm not suggesting that's why you have the issue you mentioned earlier. It's most likely just a bug. But some people like me, have reported continuing issues, even after the bugs have been corrected, allowing most people to play. And after trawling the Microsoft forums, I eventually came across other people who had issues with games similar to mine, and the problem was caused by certain updates to Windows 11. The problem for me, and those other people who are affected by this issue, is we are only a tiny number of Microsoft's customers, which means that correcting that issue is a very low priority (it needs to potentially affect millions of people before it gets serious enough to be corrected). But hopefully, when Windows 12 is eventually released in 1-2 years, it will no longer be an issue?
I switched to the VN version. Yes, you do loose the possibility to move the characters and some details in regard to the money stats. Otherwise it looks like the same story

Yeah, what you're talking about is caused by the way Deep is pursuing several different routes, that will ultimately have very different outcomes, with the same content. This sometimes results in content that appears to be incompatible with whatever outcome you hope to achieve. So you get loads of scenes with Andrew, even if you've decided to get rid of him, that seem to be aimed at finding some accomodation with him. That's because the middle route, will likely follow some kind of NTR path, because how else will Anna be able to continue her 'cheating' lifestyle longterm, but stay with Andrew? And then of course, the third route will have Anna ultimately abandon this lifestyle and return to being Andrew's loyal girlfriend again. So it's not really surprising that some of the current content feels wrong, because depending on where you want to end up, it definitely is in some instances. And the same goes, for if you want Anna to achieve a submissive or dominant outcome in end, a lot of the content seems to be going in the wrong direction?

Chapter 1, was much more linear. Deep didn't open up Anna to as many possibilities, and therefore it was much easier to reuse the same content for everything. But now that he is opening her up, this seeming incompatibility of some scenes is much more apparent, and understandably perhaps pisses off some people. Reusing content for different routes, even when it appears to contradict earlier choices, is of course a well established method of saving time. It's not ideal, and I'm sure the Devs are well aware of how a lot of players feel negatively towards this, but it's just how they've decided to cut back on development time. And that's the reason for it in the game, pure and simple.

In the longterm, it won't make any difference, Anna will break up with Andrew, if you made that choice, or she'll continue cheating on him and the game will morph into cuckold territory, or she'll get cured and her libido will eventually be reduced to more normal levels, so she can become Andrew's loyal girlfriend once more. And currently the rationales, are that Anna is biding her time if she's decided to leave Andrew, giving him more time to recover from his injury, before she drops the bombshell on him, that she no longer loves him. Or that she's currently manoevring Andrew towards acceptance of her cheating, if she ultimately wants to stay with him, but not get cured. Or that she will get cured, once it becomes available, and will abandon her current lifestyle (which has been forced on her by her illness and circumstances) because deep down she still really loves him and misses what they once had together.

At some point, one assumes, the Devs will separate these paths out. But when that happens, it will clearly mean some updates when you don't get any content, if you're not interested in a particular route. And you can imagine how negatively certain people on this site will respond to that? So at the moment, they're trying to delay that moment for as long as possible, by reusing scenes even if they seem to be incompatible for certain routes. It's the classic problem with much game development, you're damned if you do, and you're damned if you dont.
Hello Zara. As you recommended, switched to the VN version. Jeremy is dead in this version and now I decided in the core choice of Anna towards Andrew, that she wants to waken up with someone who loves her. Heavily interested to see, what kind of impact this has towards the first choice, which was sex only. Guess this will be the only path where Anna needs to come up at some time down the road being honest to Andrew. At least this he deserves

Issue in the VN version like in the sandbox. Luckily in the VN version, you do not get stuck afterwards.

Dear creators. Need to ventilate my frustration. Stopped watching the novel after the scene with Anna and her neighbor in the bed of Anna and Andrew. You created such a powerful, smart, sexually hyper active young lady, who stands up towards the female boss of the syndicate, but who doesn't have the guts to talk to the one person, who got her out of the situation at home. And I had purposely chosen the path for Anna, where she wants to get back together with Andrew. No matter what path Anna is chosing, to tell the truth to Andrew should be the foundation of all her business success and private fun. I do recommend that you delete that third path as option for the next release and keep only the two other ones, the only ones which make sense in the way the novel is running - Anna cheating all the time or Anna splitting up from Andrew immediately. The way she drags him on is just nonsense to watch. Today I would change my rating from 5 stars to 4 stars. The quality of the drawings and the animations are great, no discussion, but the storyline is the simple "hotwife humiliates her husband/boyfriend and cheats around with everbody, as they are better equipped than him". So sad. The first season was so promising. Sorry for my very open feed-back. See files attached Anna season 2_core path decisions Andrew.png

Actually, that doesn't alter her core behaviour. It just allows you some more dominant choices in a couple of scenes ( and you'll need to make the dominant choice a few other times, during 2 scenes with Jeremy on Thursday evening and Friday morning). Also, I think you need at least 2 dom points, to get these scenes, so if you're not on the Jeremy path, I think it's impossible to achieve anyway? I know they're always blanked out on the Jeremy dead path. Anna can still behave extremely submissively in many scenes, regardless of whether you make these 'dominant' choices. My guess is, you will be able to make her more generally dominant in the future, but that will be determined by other factors.
Hello Zara. Guess you will read my comment from about one hour ago. Really a pity. The story started so good. But I hate hotwife humiliation within all three paths. So I'm out of it. Guess we might meet for another novel in the future.

Well she can't be a 'hotwife' because that would mean Andrew was aware of everything she was doing, and he's clearly totally oblivious. That is actually the opposite of what you're implying.

As I've tried to explain, the reason for pursuing the current course on all three routes, is simply to save time during development and not because it implies any particular direction on certain routes. The main canon route is the middle route. That is the one that was pursued through most of Chapter 1, when the game was more linear. And that's what we've kind of continued to follow through Chapter 2, with some deviations to indicate that there will be other more defined routes in the future. It's just the way the Devs have decided to pursue things to those ends. It's obviously not ideal, because a lot of content appears to contradict those routes, and naturally perhaps irritates people who want Anna to follow those routes and only those routes. But it is what it is. And if you play more of these games, you'll quickly realise that Devs often have to make these kinds of compromises, to continue developing their games.

That's the thing really. No matter how hard you try, you'll never find a game that follows exactly the path you want it to. The only way to achieve that, is by becoming a developer and making one that way. For the rest of us, it's a matter of compromising and accepting that we'll probably never get exactly what we want.

But in the end, it's up to you. I really love this game, so perhaps I'm biased. I've been playing it since early 2018, when there were many less female protagonist games available, and this genre was in it's infancy. So yeah, maybe I have a particular affection for this game, that is not reciprocated by others who came much later? Because I've been involved with it as a patron for a long time. To be quite honest, I don't really care whether Andrew's faithful route is nonsense, because I'm not really interested in that route, and let's face it, nor are most of the other patrons. That was a route Deep never originally intended to pursue. And realistically, there's likely to be no future content on it. Anna will get the cure, and that route will then just get an ending in all likelihood. Because once Anna get's cured, the game is effectively over. It can only continue if she doesn't accept a cure. So I suspect, if the player accepts a cure, whatever route you've chosen, we'll get a variety of endings. Allowing the game to continue, in much the same manner, on the non-cure routes, where presumedly Anna will continue to sink into depravity.

Hello Zara. Got your message. I agree with your statement, that it is very refreshing to have novels with female MC's. And I do understand the impact of developing in moving forward for a game. You might know, there is another AVN with a female MC - interestingly also only four letters for her name (Lisa), which also gives the possibilities to have embarassing routes and sharing ones for the couple. So it is feasible to keep a couple on eye level - and have the female lead enjoy sexuality to the fullest. Anyway. I take back the hotwife topic in the meaning, that Andrew is aware and likes it. It is this base line of Anna constantly enjoying to humiliate him, which I do not like. If Anna would kick Andrew out of the appartment in the meantime and did go on with the way of her life - whether taking a cure or not in the future - I wouldn't have written my comments. This baseline below the experiences of Anna in business, in the bar, in social media, in the movie industry, in the drug business, this is - for me - unnecessary. As you said: the core path is her enjoying herself the fullest, there is no need for Andrew anymore. Just take him out of the story - no change for Anna beside no humiliation towards her so called boyfriend. But please enjoy the next chapters, as also stated, the quality of drawing and the animation in all the active scenes is really great.

Well put. LIFE is about compromises, weighing possible good outcomes with bad ones. Sometimes you can zig and things can go well, other times taking a zag could achieve the same but with either slightly better or worse results. The game, to Me at least, is symbolic of that. After All, the overall purpose of the game is creating the real life-type ancillary situations that gives the character a believable background and not just a porn background with porn logic. And, although the game doesn't always achieve it, utimately it's the actual Players who make those choices based on what They want to see happen. These types of games are Literally "What If" type games. "What would happen if Anna's flimsy dress got caught in the car door by a suden gust of wind?" or "What if Anna decided to go all in to get her condition resolved? Would she Still be the same as she is now? Would she come to really love her bf & put everyone else aside? What if, while selling drugs Anna caught a stray bullet or caught a federal case?" Just those few questions that I posed have numerous possibilities, And Each branch itself branches into more possibilities. It was explained in Avengers: Endgame to The Hulk of what's that like. Again, No game can cover all of that given the number of motivations from the myriad number of players actually playing this or other such games.
As I mentioned in another thread, that's the "danger" of multi-choice, multi-branching, multi-NPC games. You Can't cover Every possibility of an action/inaction/decision/non-decision in a game, simply because in Real life No One can prepare for every eventuality. It Ain't Possible. Sometimes you have to settle for the lesser of two evils or settle for a win/loss today in order to get the Big win that you're looking for down the road. Sometimes people get hurt or get their feelings hurt in the process, Especially if one is being self-centered and disregards the feelings of the ones that they interact/love or live with. Imho, the game has gotten back on track from what was going on much earler in this saga and that's what makes this and others like it, stand out.

Also to that comment I can agree fully. The novel is very realistic - for the paths cheating or leaving. There is currently another one, which even has the word debauchery in it, a description which Zara was using for a possible further development of Anna. Yes, Anna and that female MC are very similar in activity. There is somewhere in chapter 6 or so of that AVN a core decision point, where the female MC has to decide to tell her husband or stay silent. The version where she shares her experiences lead to a relationship with her husband still doing all the naughty stuff, but telling him or even having him present. This would have been my expectation for the third path of Anna also. Yes, Anna is the strong one and she should be, no matter about cure or so. That's the fun of watching her. The way she is acting in the so called "get back together" path is just not realistic at all. That's why I do support the other AVN financially and stopped supporting Anna.

Anna isn't really humiliating Andrew. Well not yet anyway. To be humiliated he would have to be aware of what was going on, and that isn't happening yet. As far as Andrew is concerned, Anna is still his faithful girlfriend, so I don't understand why you think he's being humiliated? Yes, if he was aware of what Anna was up to, then you would have a point. But Andrew is not a very observant person, and no matter how many risks Anna takes, he seems unable to see the obvious. At this stage Anna is just teasing him, rather than humiliating him, because she more than anyone knows how easy it is, to have Andrew see, what she wants him to see.

The Dev has stated on many occasions, why he keeps Andrew in the game. He's simply there, so she's got someone to cheat on. So from that perspective he is essential. And Deep has made him such an unsympathetic character, that it's really difficult to feel sorry for him, which of course is entirely deliberate. If Anna is single, then it's an entirely different game, and a lot of people who like the cheating element, would not get as much out of the game as they currently do.

The game you mention, 'Lisa' , is a different type of game from this one, because the boyfriend is aware that his girlfriend sometimes does naughty stuff, and he kind of accepts it. She doesn't tell him everything and therefore it's still cheating, but it's not the same as with Anna and Andrew, where Andrew is completely convinced that Anna is not slutty or into kinky sex. Lisa and her boyfriend are into sharing, but this game wasn't set up to be like that. And because Andrew is such an unsympathetic character, it would be very very difficult to change course, and make him into the kind of character, who could be part of a sharing/swinging type game, because so many people hate him or are ambivalent towards him. If you tried to do that, most people just wouldn't accept it. Because they want bad things to happen to Andrew. Which kind of restricts you to a cuckold type scenario for the middle route.

The husband in 'Steps of Debauchery' is once again not a fair comparison with Andrew. Mike is a much more sympathetic character than Andrew, because he is actually very willing to accommodate all his wife's desires, if she decides to ask him. But because Riley decides not to tell him on the cheating route, she never finds that out. And that is completely different to Andrew.

As far as the third path is concerned. Well there is absolutely nothing to stop you from having Anna refrain from having a lot of sex, after she makes that choice. You can basically make her faithful again, regardless of what the storyline is saying, because virtually every sex scene, has a choice not to do it. The reality is, that as soon as Anna becomes faithful again, the game is effectively over. Because that isn't what this game is about. So if you were following that path, and it did what you want it to do. The game would just end, and there wouldn't be any further content with Anna and Andrew playing happy families. Because that would be a different game from this one.

Hello Zara. Yes, agreed. The character of Mike and Andrew are significantly different. Mike is much more grown up, much more open and an adult compared to Andrew. Still, the path where Riley is chosing to be open to Mike, this is a version of a path, I have expected as third path for Andrew to turn into. But yes, if he stays this stupid, childish character, then he gets what he deserves. Like mentioned, I just don't have fun in humiliation, Anna should kick him out, then all would be good out of my point of view. Still all the best to the creators, it is a very good work, I just like it more in either an eye to eye level approach between partners or clear cuts - humilation I've to often in real life to enjoy it in an AVN. Like in a book, this is the point, where I stop reading and put the book onto a shelf to sell or give away for free. I'm currently watching another AVN, where a couple is on eye to eye level developing more and more their sexual experiences and shares together, what they think about and how they want to go on. Just more my style of story I do like to read/watch. I enjoyed a lot the discussion with you and doccop63, helps me to sort our, what I like and what not. Take care.

Hello Zara. Many thanks for your very open and honest answers up to now. Have to admit, even if I do not like humiliation, I did a fast forward of my novel version to see, where Anna is going. Again, my path is Jeremy dead, Patrick alive, and the Andrew core decision "perhaps I can make amends and have this every day". In the fast forward of this path, which "could" get Anna and Andrew back into a relationship, Anna gets to be CEO, has fun with the old guys Alfred and the major - Alfred even with Andrew in the next room - and the version ends with her getting caught when being on the ship of the female head of the syncidate. There is no step changing her approach, both core scenes with the old guys are part of the core story, nothing special Anna decides to do. As I strongly believe, the only realistic path for such a powerful lady - without the humiliation which is surely part of the third path "cheating" - is to leave Andrew and find somebody new, I would like to know, if the first path "I don't think I will fix things, or even want to do" would already do decisive changes towards Andrew in this next chapters until the boat. If so, I would change to that path now and watch it, otherwise I will shelve the novel until somewhere 2027 and have a re-look and support then. Guess you have been doing several different paths already. Tks in advance
