I comment on this thread, because I really enjoy playing this game, and it's probably my favourite. I can't wait for the next update. So if you think you're frustrated, I can assure you, it's nothing compared to mine. But I don't need to tell everybody in the world, day after day about that, because doing that is really really boring and irritating. Something you seem incapable of understanding.

Something we learn in business is, the cheaper the product, the more entitled the customer is.
The more likely they'll feel entitled to complain non stop.


This is a pirate site, it diminishes the profitability of the product being created by people who dedicate years of their lives to perfecting something which interests many of us.

People have their own lives to deal with, on top of finding the time to work on these games.

I will say this time and time again, support the dev if you like what they make. If you feel they're not satisfying your needs as a consumer, then by all means cease to support them.

We will one day have to address the fact that the quality of products is being reduced while they tend to become more expensive. Yet these games are available for free most times.

Every time someone downloads a game for nothing, they've managed to source something which costs them zero.

Those who do actually pay the dev are supporting a human being who has their own thoughts, feelings and lives.

The people making these games are not living the high life from the occasional payments they get.

I tell you now, when I was being paid £15K a month for a product I once sold in 2016, it was nice money, but you have to pay tax on that, you have to use to pay bills.
It doesn't last forever.
We once got a £70k cheque for another product back in 2018.
All that money is gone now. it gets spent on existing.

So go easy on the devs, cos most games are abandoned because of the toxicity of moaning people who are never happy.

It's the quickest and easiest way to destroy something, just by moaning endlessly.

Accusing people of milking what amounts to very little money in the scheme of things.

A quick update about the progress of the next release.

I hoped the previous weekly update would be the last, but I was wrong. I have to apologize, but it will take a bit longer. Some rl issues are in the way. The good thing is that I continue working on scenes, and there will be a longer update this time because of that.

There will be more than 800 renders; we have never had that many in one update. There will also be lots of great animations as we are trying our best to improve them with each release.

We will try to release the update next week, but it might take a couple of days more to finish everything. I really hope you are still with me

it is not a surprise for me!
As i said tons of time to the delay-complainer-RecklessOG (that is now in my ignoring list) this dev releases about 3/4 updates a year and when he delays it is usually because the update contains a lot of content...
Since the story has been having separate paths for a while now, it will often happen that there will be less frequent updates... because from now on he will have to create different scenes in the different paths... this may take up to twice as many renderings to satisfy both paths of Anna's story...
I find this way of working very positive.
As an example, there are developers like Void Star who release monthly updates... but these updates only include less than one path at a time...
This way of doing things alienates me from the story...in fact, with VoidStar I have come to the conclusion that it is better to download a new version after 6 months or a year to be sure to find a satisfactory amount of new content...

An important thing to say to those, like the "cry-baby-RecklessOG-cry" , who complains obsessively about delays in getting new updates, is that DeepSleep will never rush to release incomplete updates to satisfy the itch of fools who repeat the same thing over and over again after the first month an update has come out... Deep does not change its way of working....
Deep sleep will never abandon Anna's story and any delay will always be justified by the consistency of the content of this beautiful story

I would rather talk about Anne and her future destiny in Sun City...I would remind you that CH1 refers to the first 28 days in the city and that Anne including CH2 has been in the city for about 2 months and she has already managed to get important jobs and roles in all the places she has been in...and she is gaining more and more power in the city...
in just a few months she is managing to make a career in all the fields she works in and soon she will become very rich especially if she continues to be a porn actress!

Came here to ask if Deep forgot how to update his game, then noticed people getting shit on religiously by deeps dick sucking fem bois. Deep is late, he is pretty consistently late, however this time he is beyond late. Nothing wrong with pointing that out. Yes people get the product for free here. However that doesn't mean that their views are less valid. This game would never have succeeded without this site and people getting it for free. The vast majority of people who go to Patrion or subscribestar (or whatever that site is called) to support these games find them on here. Personally, I used to pay every month for this game on Patreon. I stopped doing so because game breaking bugs were never getting fixed and we started getting less and less content while it was taking more and more time. I still enjoy the game enough, and I can be very passionate about it. But i have stopped expecting better from Deep. And in the end, this is a forum where we come to discuss things. Not everything we discuss will be good and nor should it. We should be allowed to bring up problems without fuck boys coming in and going off on people for it. Ya'll need to learn how to have grown up conversations instead of just threatening to involve moderators because someone has valid criticisms that don't get addressed or acknowledged and continue to be a problem. yes that last comment was directly to you Ankhesenamun.

The VN version is bug free... this story is linear and the sandbox structure is useless and causes a lot of problems...

regarding the amount of content included in the update they are made to have a full episode with each update. . so it is not true that there has been less and less content with each release and it seems that the next update will have a lot more content than usual ... so
I highly recommend downloading the VN version and start playing CH2 from scratch that is the best way to see for yourself what I am saying ...

I get what your saying and I have recently started using the VN version. Generally I tried sticking with the sandbox version for as long as I did mostly because I enjoyed the feel of actually playing a game to some extent. But you are correct that the VN seems to work much better. As for my path, Ive tried each of them, however the path I choose the most as my Anna's "True" route per say, is Jeremy dead, And the bar owner dead. When at the police station I used to choose to contact Carl, but, I mean, now we know thats not the best option. I usually go with the female doctor. My thing with Anna is I really like her choosing to be a hoe, I dont like when she is forced into it. I wanna see her turn the bar into a ranchier establishment but itbe her choice. I also love the fact that she is becoming underworld queen per say. As for Andrew, I understand how he is necessary for the cheating aspect, but I just cant stand the kid. I really cant. His "redemption" arc I also feel felt forced to give him some "likeable" attributes. But I think it just did the opposite. He directly put Rebecca's life in danger. And for what? To bring down a crime organization and through it Anna's sister and her friends? When she had the option to decide if she wanted to fix things, I chose for her to admit to herself that she has no intention of doing so. I want to see something come from that realization. I think she needs to tell Andrew "ive done enough for you, its time for you to leave and find your own place". At least if thats the path chosen. I understand some paths cut off certain content, I also get that with all these routes, he is having to do more content directly related to certain routes. And sadly that takes more time. I just wish that wasnt the case.

I do wish he would stop calling them weekly updates though. Dont get me wrong Im always exstatic when we get one and he does generally give us a good background image with it, but its not weekly anymore. Could be he just gets so busy he forgets sometimes but its more every other week to every three week update. Thats a small nitpick though. But not wrong. XD
