It's an unrelated questline to anything else, you just need to actually turn the nurse in at the end of it. show up at the nurse's office around noon and talk to kate to start it.

I'm stuck at the part where the nurse is locked in the supply closet in the art room, how do i get her out?

check the google doc walkthrough in the OP. you need to interact with the lolipop cup in the nurse's office to get a safety pin and combine it with yarn.

I think the first release was already version 1.0? The creator has a weird system for numbering the game versions I think.

The version numbering is... unusual, this is not a finished game. And yes, sexual content is not tagged. Not that there's a ton of it, but still.
