ah sorry, i cant help with this one. i played only the season 1 and waiting the season 2 to be completea single quiet moment.
I have no idea how this happens, probably an oversight on the dev's behalfi'm stuck....or maybe i'm dumb...i'm on a single moment quest where isabelle is in the room and she's "storming off"....but i'm stuck there...i interecated with pc, vhs, bed, closet, door, book, and other shit and nothing works...idk what i'm supposed to do. isabele isn't in the room anymore...
It is really far fetched to describe the choice of MCs name as "offloading" a design decision. Many game genres with RPGs being to most prominent do it all the time. It's a feature not a bug.Hard to think of a worse start to a game.
First it asks a name, thanks for offloading that design decision on the player who doesn't know what the game is and who didn't write the rest of the story.
You can highlight all the objects you can interact with by pressing the "`" button. It's on the "Tips & Tricks" section in the main menu. You're greeted with find the hidden object gameplay while its impossible to highlight all interactable objects.
You can also use the "Fast Mode" instead of the "Explore Mode" by clicking in the appropriate button at the top right corner of the screen so you won't have to always choose interact instead of investigate when clicking on objects.Want to interact with an object like door? Click on it and oh boy I get to investigate door? Then click, press the interact button to go through door. Why click once when you can do it four times and anyways everyone loves nested menus.
The story is surprisingly well written with most if not all the characters playing a major role in it in some form, except maybe for the nurse. The roster isn't really that big. It's pretty easy to keep track of them. Then you get the standard over dump of character introductions because harem, good luck remembering them all. Im sure they all contribute to the story in a meaningful way.

Decent theory. I think you're right.Incorrect.
While, it's true that she won't walk in on you if you choose "Maybe, but I want a turn with the mask." (she'll stay to clean up and then wait for you in the cafeteria), if you choose either of the other options, and you let Isabelle convince you to continue, you'll tell her to go get the key, and she will walk in on you at the very end of it. (This is true even before 1.40, tested on 1.39)
The real "problem" is that the new quest says she did walk in on us even if she didn't, and as you said, even if it never happened. I say "problem" in quotation because the reason is that the quest is WIP, and, when it's finished, will probably be either completely different, or not activate at all, if she didn't walk in on us.
... And I say "probably", because in the Flora quest "Squid Game" there's a line of dialogue that refers to something that never happened if you're doing the love route, but that's much less of an oversight than an entire quest revolving around something that never happened.
Thing is, I haven't even done 1.39's quest because it is not available in my main path, which is doing 0 stuff with Kate, not even fucking her in Dethroning the Queen. The quest in 1.40 still tells me Isabelle walked in on me and Kate, when I have never fucked her whatsoever in my save. I think this quest was a continuation of 1.39, but it should not have been able to be played by a person like me who does full Isabelle walkthrough.Incorrect.

That just further proves my point about it being a WiP quest, probably only there for the sake of testing the new minigame. That's just what you have deal with sometimes when you're playing a game that's in active development. If you keep your save from before that quest starts, I'm sure it will eventually be changed so that it will only start if you actually did the deed and were caught.Thing is, I haven't even done 1.39's quest because it is not available in my main path, which is doing 0 stuff with Kate, not even fucking her in Dethroning the Queen.
