yea, agreed. If it was advertised from the get go that it's just bland vanilla and a lot of empty text, that's perfectly fine. But building up expectations, doing a great Kate story up to now and then abandoning it is a dumb move.
Yeah, its definitely disappointing that the devs just completely ignore Kate. I understand you have other characters, but to go over like 10 updates, and nothing is insane.
I guess they are letting the subs, influence their game. A shame, every character should be balanced, but here multiple characters get content in multiple updates while others forgotten and get nothing.
Can't wait to get my 1 kate update soon, then have her forgotten for another 15 updates. Just very disappointed.

I don't think I'm the only one here waiting for new events with Kate.. she is by far the most interesting character of the game

5 1/2 years of bad development and super bad game mechanics, if I can't tolerate 15 minutes of the game it has to be incredibly bad. Have no desire to even play the first afternoon. Tedious 1000 fold. I could care less if you disagree, this is not a Dev circle jerk or daisy chain or whatever you kids do today, this is about opinions and facts.

I've managed to get this working on the latest Patron version of JoiPlay dated April 7.
I received an error after the initial phone conversation with the mystery number but was able to fix it by commenting out a line of a file listed in the traceback. I had to extract and decompile the files.
Don't know if this will work but create a folder within the "game" folder named "1000_BASE_GAME". Within that folder, create another folder named "SCREENS".
Download the attached file and place it in the "screens" folder.
I've made it to Thursday, so far, without issue.

Funny thing - I dont even care as much for Kate but ill agree with them. Besides some of the early stuff I saw with her on top of ya or combined with the exchange gal/other character stories involving her, I think she is quite ignored.. even though they even give the hint of her liking mc if they go more strength/forced vibes in that one quest with the cat shes kinda just.. there sometimes save for isabelle route?
I could be wrong but it is odd to come back and see so little of her from what I hear even if im into lindsey/flora etc
