There is. 1.53, called Medium Thirsty Tree. By the name it's probably a continuation of the Flora vs. the local flora story. I'm waiting for people to share it here, but odds are it'll take a week or so.

That quest line is fun, but it feels like there's almost too much focus on flora in general. Its beyond easy to farm 30 points of both love and lust with her casually, to the point where you never have to make a plan for her scenes. On the opposite end is characters like Jo and kate that are both criminally underused at this point, and the few scenes they have require much more care in how you respond to them.

It definitely seems like Lindsey, Flora, and isabelle are the main characters here when it comes to routes. Even though i think Lindsey is best girl i hope we get to see more focus on some other characters in the last couple acts.

I fully agree with you. And it gets worse when you look at Maya (recently added, no sex scene yet) or Ria (the janitor; not even in the game yet). I really like Flora but I'd rather see her taking a backseat.

It definitely seems like Lindsey, Flora, and isabelle are the main characters here when it comes to routes.

I think it's a mix of relevance to the plot and popularity among devs+players. And since characters usually come in pairs, when one (Isabelle, Lindsey, Flora) gets well developed enough, the other (Kate, Maxine, Jacklyn) takes a backseat.

As a an objective enjoyer of the game, I have to agree with you. Last Flora update seemed like the perfect spot to leave things until season 3. Had a very powerful moment and a solidification of the relationship between the mc and his sister.

However, as a person whose favorite is Flora, I have to say l+rip bozo+get a better waifu bucko!

I think I finally got the list of foils right:

• Kate / Isabelle - both are fucked up in their heads, and their antics go too far. One is the old bully, the other is the new "IMMA DOIN JUSTEEEEECE!". They fight each other and you need to pick a side.
• Nurse / Jo - both are school staff you shouldn't be fucking, with a few little secrets. One is a sweet sub, another is weathered and smells dominatrix from a distance. Their tastes are also sweet vs. bitter.
• Mrs. L / Mer - both know about the time loop better than you do, and they're betting on the outcome. One is present in the game since the start and hides herself in plain sight, another keeps herself hidden. (Mer likely has small tits because of how she insults Mrs. L)
• Lindsey / Maxine - both used to be close friends, and did some cool stuff together. One is an idealistic and bubbly athlete, another a cynic and brainy reporter. The game also forces you to pick one or another.
• Jacklyn / Flora - both become friends at the start of the game. One is a mature newbie who oozes sexuality, the other knows is a childish wannabe sexy who knows the MC since forever. The game almost forces you to choose one.
• [?] Maya / Ria - the shortstack doing the mess vs. the tall girl cleaning the mess. I'm guessing Ria is gullible and takes everything you say literally.

Mer is hidden but everyone else aligns perfectly with the banner. I don't think it's a coincidence, I think the devs are planning things out like this. And it's great - it adds diversity to a large cast, and by contrasting characters both become more interesting.

This Kate/Isabelle thing is what made this game interesting to me in the first season, and part of why I find S2 lacking in comparison. I love rivalries like that where there is no right side, you are picking between a Pride demon and a Wrath demon.

It would be great if someone could tell me if there is a game with a similar theme.

In the spirit of the Programmers' Third Virtue, I figured I could do better than that. As it turns out, technically I can, but it really wasn't worth the trouble: as of v1.14, your patch suffices for everything except two lines in the script, perhaps neither of which most players will ever see.

The attached patch fixes those two places anyway, and (if we are a certain kind of fortunate) may also fix others which have yet to be written.

Still, nice to see someone calling out Isabelle for being just as fucked as Kate. Add to that, she's a big phony. If Kate wins, she copes by going "I'm actually trying to fix her, I can get away as soon as I want." But if Isabelle wins, leading to Kate developing actual ptsd, she doesn't try to help, she revels in her suffering.
So yeah, one of the best girls.

Yeah this seems to be the dynamic of the characters written out succinctly. It speaks to the reason the game is so popular, and thats because its generally just very well written.

I think the only part thats contentious to me is Jo being dom. The one H scene we have of her where she's actually in her right mind and not fucked up on drugs, she didnt seem dominant at all.

I'm kind of predicting that she'll lean towards the "dommy mommy" side of the things. Both in contrast with the nurse, and because she bosses the MC around quite a bit; either way she's the one leading, not to be led. I might be wrong though, who knows.

Wait. What? I didn't know that. Now I get what you mean - even if Mer is not Ria, at least that's what the devs want you to believe. This also explains why Mrs. L hates lemon-scented soap, it's part of her rivalry with Ria, it's either another clue or another part of the red herring.
The name you mentioned also made me dig a bit further into a whole rabbit hole. I found that there is a scene with her already in the game:

Cyberia, which is another can of worns entirely, reveals that the locker from which the saucer-eyed doll came from was from Mercuria, aka Ria, aka Mer. Also, I wouldn't give her too much credit, she's most certainly the one who made Lindsey jump from the roof. Fits her modus operandi of manufactoring situations where the mc goes down the "love" path.
If the game wasn't a porn game, Game Theory could make like 17 videos on Ms. L being a demon, maybe Satan herself, Cyberia, the very nature of the time loop, the new girls, etc.
