Kind of tuned out of this one a while ago. There is far too much filler navigating around the map to go from A to B to C to B to A again so you can advance one step through a lengthy fetch quest in the hopes it will lead to something interesting happening. Sometimes there's interesting dialogue along the way, but it's uneven.
I agree that the quest intertwining and dependency is annoying. Especially since I'm not at all interested in some characters, so I don't want to advance their quests at all.
Suggestion: for the countless "walk all the way from this classroom to your bedroom to click a thing and back again", if you can't change them to something more interesting, why not add a button that lets you auto-travel? Either fast travel to the next plot location, or even just automatically advancing through the locations, 1 second at a time, without the need to click around?
