A question to those of you who have followed the game's development for some time.

I started it a week ago and only recently finished my first playthrough. Really enjoyed it. And now I've started wondering what to expect from the game's development schedule. How often are the updates released? Are they substantial or only minor? Do we have any timeframe for the future development (e.g. when is Season 2 expected to be finished)?

It's one quest a month focused on one character. Very rarely have they done multiple quests in one month. At the current rate Season 2 will probably be done by 2027 and the rest of the game in about 10 years. The devs don't reveal what quest is coming out for the next month. I also don't think they gave any expected finish for season 2 timeline.

Only one quest a month? Man, that really sucks... No surprise the game has been in development since 2020... While the production quality is very high, the business model looks very much like milking patrons through deliberately slow progress.

They have a public changelog that even shows the exclusive Patreon quest. As far as I can tell they rarely do more than one in a month. It looks like the last time was in 2022 and it was for season 1. I don't think the devs are milking anything. They just focus a lot on the great story and great art so it takes longer to do. I'm expecting the process to speed up when the game is closer to being completed. This isn't like a dev that suddenly stops updating a game because they want to work on something else.
