Ren'Py Another World, Another Adventure [v0.1.10] [S.I.T. Studio]

We're aware of the issue that our world feels "dead" for now, with nothing to do besides progressing through events. First, we want to resolve the problem with the musical accompaniment in version 0.1.9, and then we'll focus on adding various activities to the world.

It's not super bad, but yeah. Though, might I make one very tiny... minor suggestion?

Could you not deafen users with the music when the game first starts? A lot of games, when they include music at the start, have the volume of the music set so loudly that it blows out the eardrums of headphones users.

Strange... I just checked on my end, and everything works fine. You complete the 7th main story event, "Face of My Enemy", then after a couple of days, go to the attic with Sakana, and the "Soft Paws" event starts. Both trigger automatically, without any buttons.

As I did state before, all was completed except the final 2 of Sakana. Soft Paws, will not trigger. Is there a restriction on the amount of time you have to proceed? If there is so many variables and missions that was done between, that can be a factor, like heading to the brothel. If there is a restriction on the amount of days you have to complete this, that may be a reason for it not to trigger.

As I did state before, all was completed except the final 2 of Sakana. Soft Paws, will not trigger. Is there a restriction on the amount of time you have to proceed? If there is so many variables and missions that was done between, that can be a factor, like heading to the brothel. If there is a restriction on the amount of days you have to complete this, that may be a reason for it not to trigger.

No, there are no time restrictions. Although... I figured out the problem — it’s my mistake. I set a strict condition that Sakana's second event only triggers when the main storyline is exactly at event 7. If you've already completed the 8th event, it won't start. Sorry about that :c. This will be fixed in version 0.1.9.

A little review about V0.1.8.5 based on my experience, at this point of the game after a year when I added this VN to my watch list the game has 0 real progression I would have expected more but it is what it is or that's how I feel.

Pros:
- I like the prologue.

- Animations and character design are decent.

Cons:
- Everything feels forced (characters and lewd/ sex interactions) I would have loved to have control over who is in the Harem or if I want to masturbate in some (hobo XD) catgirl. The blondie one especially feels weird for my taste, especially for her attitude (I know she is Tsundere because there are "anime" elements or that's what I think) but hell 1 event she was mad because of the troubles we caused with the fatso, 2 event the fatso is now her BF and he is touching her like how I do when I prepare a steak or a chicken XD, 3 events we found out they broke up (so the purpose was only adding the fatso to touche her SUS if you are going to add more male characters for only that purpose) and now the blondie is developing some love attraction for us. So yeah, my point is that characters and interactions are forced.

-Music, the main menu screen had it but the whole game didn't (also scared me at first because of the volume, and then again I got scared when the kids started beating the MC because I thought there was no sound XD) so if you add it in the future moderated a little bit, please.

-As I said, I like the prologue but when the sandbox started the game gave me the impression that died because of how useless it feels with nothing to do and more because it is: do this, then wait a couple of days and do this again. And since there are no choices it is very KN, and also because it is really broken/ buggy that I wait till day 65 and the last 2 events of the main story never triggered, so my suggestion, get rid of the sandbox feature and make the whole game KN with some Codex feature to keep the terminology and what the spells do, and maybe add some free roam sections here and there.

Well this is my little review of the game hope someone finds it useful, also as to how I see the state of this game I guess it is going to be abandoned because of how slowly the game is progressing (hope I'm wrong) also dev, not everything is about if the character have tits, ass, and pussy, if the characters are unappealing because how they are in a whole, they are not gonna get the love some other are having and more if they are forced, or that's how I think because I don't like the MC acting like if he is starving for some pussy, woman touch, the only ones that I like were the maid and the goddess (taking into account that the goddess is a flying light bulb XD)

Thank you for the feedback and well-wishes. We may have rushed some of the girls' stories to get the update out faster — that’s our mistake, and we won’t be doing that in the future :3. As for the music, I’ve already mentioned it above: it will be added in version 0.1.9, which, by the way, releases tomorrow. We're also aware of the issue with 'nothing to do,' and we’ll work on fixing it in version 0.1.10. Regarding the bug with the last two events not triggering — that was my mistake in setting the conditions, and we've already fixed it. As for being required to complete the girls' events — for better or worse, that’s the plan for our game. I can't say that I liked Veronica the most, but I didn't dislike her either. However, suddenly making the disgusting guy her boyfriend was enough to make any interest I had in her disappear.

Likewise, Amanda's description just screams at me: Get away from her! Don't get close!

I guess then that it is best that I leave now before I'm forced to follow the route of these two LIs to continue the game.
