Alright I've played through almost 3 hours of the sandbox grind and got to like one of the major fights of the story between ami and saori and I gotta say, you need to tone down the horror. It almost ruins the hentai aspect of the game with how much is hitting me ngl, I love the story, but tone down the horror if possible.
Outside of that the game is amazing honestly, all the characters are, well definitely keepers, I personally like ami and kasu so far.

Apologies that you ran into an issue with the updater! There have been quite a few unforseen issues that have cropped up over the past couple hours since release, mostly due to Windows being overly protective of file overwrites. Assuming you're using Windows, of course.

If it's not too much trouble, is it possible for you to send me a copy of the log file? it'll be within "AnotherWorld-pc/update/log.txt" - it'd really help out a lot for troubleshooting to make sure this sort of thing doesn't happen in future

Hey dude, thanks for giving your thoughts! I'd love to hear more on your opinions of the character development seeming a faster pace than expected - are there any examples you can give me so I can better understand what you mean? I'm always looking out for ways to improve my writing

Speaking of your writing, you have quite a few errors just in the first interaction. I wouldn't normally bring something like this up if you weren't trying to carry the same grandiose air as another game of a 3 letter acronym you mention.


It would be "Saori and I" in several cases including the screenshot above. If you need to check, remove the second person ("Saori and") from the sentence and see whether "me" or "I" works.



Your 'H' in "Her" is capitalized unnecessarily (as it is written now)*. Two adjectives require a comma separation. Your verb-tense is mixed. This is a run-on sentence.
If you wanted to reword it, you could say: "Saori excitedly runs towards me from the distance. Her soft, scarlet hair billows in the wind behind her, and a soft smile is etched across her face."

*you have a tendency to capitalize letters after commas (or at random) quite often.

Appreciate the grammar corrections here - I tend to be get quite involved when writing, redrafting and re-editing lines quite quickly and generally having an admittedly poor perception of a few grammar rules & basic consistency mistakes such as capitalisation. These tend to slip me by by virtue of not having a dedicated proof-reader.

Not too sure about the 'grandiose air' you're referring to here - aware you're referencing LiL, but is it something with the writing style that draws a similarity? If so, it's not deliberate in nature

Finally sat down and got to the birthday part, and man, I thought Kirei sucked but was starting to be redeemable, but now imo she super sucks lmao.

I hate the dialogue between her and yuna. I will say though amazing writing though dev, because you're actually capturing the essence of bratty teenagers in perfect form. They're too immature to realize that Kasu and Sakura both do so god damn much for them on a regular basis, that the little things they can do to return just the smallest things back to them, they have to be dicks about to them for no reason. If that isn't the teenage spirit in a nutshell lmao. We've all been there. Just need absolute control over everything regardless of intentions. My only minor gripe of that scene was that Yuna didn't catch herself realizing Kirei is just mirroring how she acts with Kasu though. Thought she woulda had a moment there, but we cant have it all

Kirei however, way more-so than Yuna, atleast Yuna does help her sister, even if its just school related stuff at worst. Kirei though? Shit. Freeloader, Cant cook, Probably doesn't even clean. Just bitches, complains, and fights about everything meanwhile Sakura works a full time job, takes overtime, pays for her, houses her, cooks her gourmet food, cleans up after her, and cant even take a bath in peace without being constantly ribbed about it. Let alone do something nice for the girl without her being a massive cunt about it lol. If Sakura told her to pack her shit, she would be completely fucked lets be real.

Anyway just wanted to mini-rant/also glaze a bit. I really do respect the writing though because it really does have a level of care and construction to it that is quite rare to find in these games. It's very... Human, in a way, where alot of games feel like white noise reading through them.

Pretty sure I'm in a bug loop. I'm on Day 328 and my Event hint just says "Event chain in progress". I literally went like 3 weeks trying each option in repeat trying to do whatever needs to be done but nothing is kicking off.
Last Main event completion is "Iris".
Any one else have this or have an idea as to what could be the user error if not a bug?

There is a new side character currently shown as (?) bringing the number of side events to 9 but I dont find any hint how to trigger this event? Just played through one week after completing everything else and did not get anything.

Or is that just not implemented yet, the other side characters are shown as completed.

I always find it interesting to see people's differing opinions on the Sakura & Kirei / Yuna & Kasu dynamic - everyone seems to have their own way of seeing it which I quite like. As I'm sure you've noticed I did spend considerable time on crafting decent character dynamics & interactions, which I do feel is something sorely lacking in many adult vns nowadays

Ooo - there seems to be something a little wrong there. The next main event is supposed to auto-trigger after completing 'Iris'.

Ah - feel free to ignore that. The character is still yet to be introduceed - I was planning on introducing her in 1.10, but development time got the better of me
