That's good to hear.
I love LiL and Selebus, but some updates they seem high on their own farts with the lack of sex scenes and focus on the horror/story & revelling in how many words they can brag about in the update description. I'm giving them $5 month forever so I can shit-talk it.
It's painfully apparent half the characters are never going to get a lust score or actual H-scenes until 2030, if ever. Even if you go the same direction, if the writing is good we'll keep coming back =) Even though I complain about it, I like being teased
It's still the best game of it's type hands down though, so if you're loosely based in the same style as LiL I'm sure you'll do well.
There's not much you can nit-pick about it really except what I mentioned.
But nonetheless competition and similar games are always welcome. I'm a sucker for this style.
I'll give it a play and report back with a review!

To be honest, the point of this game isn't necessarily just fap-bait - I want to create a really engaging narrative and build emotional connections with the player and the characters. I'm quite fixated on the idea of building a connection with a character, and finding unique ways to undermine it and see it all come crashing down. I guess it's a way to root it more into reality than fantasy.

Running windows 11. I can't even add it to exclusions because my computer auto deletes the exe file. I was able to run it fine after downloading it. Turned it off and after attempting to run it again my computer starts freaking out. Just weird. Probably just some weirdly specific odd thing windows 11 is doing.

'log.txt' was accidently included on release from my end - so nothing useful there I'm afraid.
Maybe try temporarily disabling your security before you unzip 'AnotherWorld-1.0.0-pc.zip', add the folder you unzipped to exclusions, then turn your security back on? Shouldn't delete any files if it's been fully disabled (I think).
It's probably doing this because I edited the base .exe file Ren'Py distributions usually generate with with my own icon thumbs - I'll have a look into making sure this doesn't happen in the next update
