Ren'Py Another World [v1.8.3] [Maelstrom]

Important Update.
Hey guys, I have a little bit of news that I feel is pretty important to share.
I’m having to make the incredibly difficult decision to put development of Another World on hold temporarily. Unfortunately, various life changes over the past couple of days have left me in a position where I am unable to commit time to the upkeep and development of the game – at least for the meantime.
It hurts to put a halt on development of something that brings me such joy and relaxation to create – but unfortunately, it’s a step I have to take to ensure that I take care of myself and get my life back on track. I would love to get back to development of the game as soon as it becomes feasible for me – but as of the moment I am unsure as of how long that may take.
Be sure, however, that as soon as I am in a comfortable position to continue, I will. I’ve really enjoyed creating the most recent update for the game, and it’s a shame it’s going to be more delayed than I had initially anticipated. I’d have hoped to be posting a progress report a couple of days back to the supporters regarding the progress – just hit 170,000 words total and was making really fast progress towards the latter half of the update. It’s shaping up to be something that I’m really proud of and I can’t wait to get it out to you guys once that time comes.
Speaking of - I just want to say a massive thank you to those who have supported me over the past 510 days that another World has been released to the public – your support has brought me so much joy throughout this time and made continuing developing the game possible for me. I’ll be temporarily pausing billing for any supporters for this month over on Patreon/Subscribestar – if any payments have already gone through for this month I’ll be sure to fulfil any benefits you have paid for.
Feel free to reach out on the Discord or through Patreon/Subscribestar/Itch for anything – I’m not planning on going anywhere anytime soon. I hope to be able to bring you some more positive news regarding the future of the game when I’m ready to share it

Use the compressed version of 1.8.2 - the only change was a single bugfix for the very end of the game (the endscreen didn't show up)

You guys are amazing. I can’t even begin to describe my appreciation for how much love and support has made its way to me over the last few weeks. It’s made the pretty rough time I’ve been going through a little easier to manage when I’ve got all of you guys rooting for me from the sidelines.
As of right now, I can comfortably say that I’m ready to resume development of Another World. I’ll be working on it at a pace that you guys are familiar with by now – and I’m so excited to get stuck back into the development process once again
