The '!ml' at the end of the message indicates that this was machine-learning identified by windows defender rather than something they've checked for themselves, and it seems to have flagged the .exe file for no apparent reason. The game uses minimal network features for a newsfeed and for in-game updates - those are the only things that could even remotely make Windows Defender throw out a wild false positive for no reason.
Additionally, Ren'Py games sometimes have some issues with false-positive virus flags due to the way the icon thumbnail is injected into the .exe file, I believe. I can assure you that there is nothing to worry about in this instance.
Rest assured, I'll be looking into this further so that nobody's spooked by false positives in the future!
