Does anyone know if it is possible to replace the model of an already finished character (with ready assets, voice acting, etc. from the game itself) ?

not entirely sure what you mean, there are modding tools so in theory you could take an existing custom model or asset and make a custom character for heat, but nobody has actually ever finished one as far as i know. there are plenty of skins available, and some people are working on mods for the characters but it seems like the system they use for a lot of the character related stuff is pretty jank or difficult to use, especially given how long it takes them to add new characters to the game, its been a couple months since they announced the winners of the new character poll

I think they mean something like adding a skin to the game but just use another characters model instead of some color changes. Ex: everything's marina like bones, voice lines, animations but instead of looking like marina, it's renamon or loona. Only replacing the model and nothing else.

I've noticed that a lot of ass-cake is dependent on the hip posing, since the hips/ass are the root of the character. Try rotating the hips (whole character) forward, then leaning the torso backwards and the legs into whatever position you want. It's unintuitive, but you have to think about the pelvis/lower torso as centric to posing.

Have you solved it? And do you play in VR? At the Lovense promo page for this game, it states every toy is compatible, however Solace Pro version is not pinned as recommended

Technically yes, but the way the characters are rigged/animated makes it so completely replacing the geometry of the character is very hard. Texture changes and adding additional geometry seem to work fine, but I think something about the rig bones makes it so that you can't really character swap without some dark magic. A few modders have demonstrated some progress with this, but no finished projects yet. (For example, the dude who runs their modding package couldn't finish his own character.)

What toy are you using? And are you connecting via phone app or PC app, and LAN or dongle?

you would think this would be something they would prioritize improving, not just to make their own lives easier when creating new characters, but it'd make modding their game easier and more approachable. that alone would increase its appeal and bring a lot more community created content than what they get now imo. right now any modding to the game requires at least basic knowledge of unity, which ngl i barely have lol. i think some things are just broken with their modding tool too and i'm not sure if they're even things that are fixable with what they give us. stuff like Renee's radial menu not appearing in my custom room, and some of the duo/trio poses one individual is rotated 90 degrees from the direction they're supposed to be facing when they spawn in.

speaking of mods, will probably upload my updated pass-through mod soon. its about as functional as i'm able to get it. all the characters spawn, some of the duo/trio poses are semi-broken though. and you have to have bloom disabled if you have post processing enabled otherwise it turns everything green lol

i can not get any of the locations or skins to work, and some of the items aren't working for me either and I have no idea why. Also is there a repo of poses anywhere?

Yeah, the saint atlas one was buggy and another one that I forgot was buggy and nothing would load until I took both out. I think the hologram vertex one? *there were 2 mods called hologram vertex in there and the one without 1.5 works, idk if they were conflicting or if the 1.5 is buggy

Kinda feel the same, i think it would be a goldmine to give people something akin to an ingame character maker but simply just making the life of modders easier would be great too.

Gotcha, I'll take a look. I remember one of those causing issues in a previous patch, so maybe it's rearing its head again.
