It sounds like an issue that I've run into. The more mods I have to load the longer it takes for me to load the game. With enough mods loading if I do anything else while waiting for Heat to boot up it can crash the game entirely. They may want to remove a few mods/skins/locations from the mod folder and try it then. Maybe leave one in and increase the number to see how the program acts with the greater load. Locations in particular take a longer to load than skins, but even the skins can take a while if there are enough.

I've considered it, but there are so many poses and people keep making new ones every few days, so keeping up with it would be very challenging and it would balloon in size very quickly. I also have limited storage space in my Proton Drive.
I've managed to test Solace Pro with Heat, firstly mobile app works bad for me while USB dongle is much more responsive with less lag. You need to make sure this is enabled (there's the same switch in mobile app):
Then launch the game and check that it sees your toy:
After that you can try penetrate any character and the toy should respond.
P.S. Position mode is a mess, it has 1-2 seconds delay with very intermittent movement plus gets toy stroke range wrong, greatly reducing it compared to scene movement, no matter how deep insertion goes in fact. I'd recommend change it to thrust mode and then play around with response intensity setting

You can change it by pressing ESC, I suppose. I haven't played with Jesper yet, but in case you didn't check that option.

Nope. Unless the dev is using a pseudonym on like three different platforms, they're not Fek lol. If you're referring to Rack 2, this isn't really the same flavor imo, but it does fall into a similar "sex simulator" category. Also lol, lmao even, I remember when Fek released an announcement like 2 years after Rack 2 went silent with a """"""dev update"""""" where he had wireframed a UI for the nonfunctional multiplayer feature. No word since.
There is a playerbody for VR (and a jank one for 2D) but no human body skin. Kinda surprised nobody has modded that yet, since it would likely be a simple texture swap.

I never dabbled in that myself but I have seen many creations on RackNet, or whatever that was called, looking human in an very uncanny, unsexy kind of way. So it seems to be "possible" to create a "Human" character, just not a very good one.

heh, not to mention all his streams where he showed he was 'working' by doing anything else but. I knew it wasn't Fek, but was only making the comparison based on the anthromorphs. I mean, even this looks more complete than the dreaded Rack2. Honestly, I toss Fek right below H-Bomb as far as P-scams go.
