Welp, the game is a bit rough. Again, I actually appreciate the very different art ascetic, but the game does have issues. Yeah, if doesn't seem to like windowed mode, but the game has the decency to be in 16x9 aspect ratio, so it doesn't look stretched or compressed on my 1440p display. The protagonist is a floating jellyfish like creature, and in dire need of a drop shadow. Your position in this isometric world can get a bit wonky, and it is fairly easy to not be in the right place to interact with an NPC or get stuck on buildings while trying to navigate some of the narrower streets and alleys. The mechanics are both barebones and fairly obtuse (What does sickness do, and how do you cure it? How do you raise your stats?). I hope you like percentage chances to succeed, because anything worth doing is going to be subject to random rolls; meaning that your low stats cause you to get screwed over by RNG more often than not.
It's a shame that the interesting art and imaginative world is trapped within this rather tiresome and lackluster 'game' that has been built around it.
