population is 337,368,585. to say that 30% ie 101.210.575.5 is trans women (or any kind of trans), is factually wrong.
That's not what they said, they said that over 30% of trans women transition.

I don't think that's correct, though.

"Transgender women report bottom surgery at rates between 5–13%"
"Genital reconstruction was performed for 16 872 patients (35.1%), and other facial and cosmetic procedures for 6669 patients (13.9%) (Table 2). The most common individual procedure was breast reconstruction in 21 244 (44.2%), while the most common genital reconstructive procedure was hysterectomy (4489 [9.3%]), followed by orchiectomy (3425 [7.1%]), and vaginoplasty (3381 [7.0%])."
"In the U.S. Transgender Survey, 12% of transgender women had undergone vaginoplasty surgery, and approximately 50% more were considering"

"Transgender is a term used to describe people whose gender or sense of personal identity does not match the sex they were born with. In other words, a transgender person may have been born as a male but identifies as a female or vice versa.

Transgender people are part of the LGBTQ+ community. According to the Williams Institute, 1.4 million adults identify as transgender in the United States. About 0.5% of adults 18-24 identify as transgender, and 0.3% of adults 65 and older identify as transgender."

is you had actually looked you would see that the number of people identifying as trans is the following.

United States1,331,9003970.4%

on a personal note, best of health.
Nobody said 30% of Americans were trans, they seemed to mean that, of the 0.2% of Americans who are trans women (taking the 0.4% of trans Americans and dividing by 2), 30% transition fully, ie. puberty blockers if early enough then hormones and bottom surgery

There was a lot of drama going on.
Possibly the biggest point of complaint was because there is a trans character in the story you couldn't avoid in the beginning.
The negativity that followed was massive and got quite personal.
Also, a lot of people didn't get why Luxee was using the format he is using and jumped to uninformed conclusions.
When Luxee added an option to avoid Nea, he did it by basically skipping her content - which wasn't enough for those who wanted her removed permanently, while she still was one of the first/major cornerstones of what he wanted to create a game around.
Then he removed the slightly before-confirmed third path of just befriending Nea that people who wanted to see her story without romancing her had hoped for.
His solution of how Nea possibly removes herself from the story again got emotions up between people seemingly liking what she did to herself and people who didn't want to continue because they now knew there was this unseen path where she did so.
On a softer note, there always was the question if this shouldn't have been two games - one about Nea, and one about the harem/incest.

In the end, the negativity around Nea and against himself made him leave the forum and seemingly considerably reduced how much he worked on it - the game he was really excited about creating and the story he wanted to tell for years.

Not everything he did was the right/best choice in my mind, some of those decisions helped stoke the flames, and I myself would have loved that third removed path - but neither he, the game nor Nea deserved how they were treated and I totally understand how it can kill all your motivation (to put it mildly) if your creative work that you were so passionate about and yourself get that kind of reaction.
It's not my most favorite game ever, the production schedule right now isn't helping in any way - but I am happy to see him continuing - if only because I hope it shows he hasn't completely shut down over all this and can still find some kind of enjoyment in what was so important to him - even if it is in small doses.
I'm still supporting him - but still on Patreon, because it is per update there.
When the content is actually avoidable then I say OK, I'll give this one a shot. Sadly, the problem with this one remains that the trans content that was supposed to be avoidable clearly isn't and forced on you. This was my first time trying this VN and I selected no trans content as I always do. Everything was fine until the end of the pool party. I'm not sure if it's Luxee's fault or whoever made the IC patch, but the trans content is unavoidable using the IC patch. Haven't tried without.

Extracted the game and installed the IC patch.

1- Right after the pool party when sitting at the table the MC replies that he's with Nea. (Shouldn't be is trans content was avoided).

2- Then further down the road when at school with Charelle and Nea in the hallway the MC kisses Nea on Charelle's request. (Also Unavoidable) This is when I deleted it.

I didn't care to go any further as I have absolutely no interest of continuing this non avoidable trans content. Too bad because the rest was interesting.

The dev just forgot (or hasn't gotten) to add alternative dialog here. It also depends on how they see the "skip" button conceptually. If they see it as an option to literally skip all content with Nea, then it works as expected, and similar to other games that let you skip certain scenes; canonically they still happened, you just don't see them.

I don't get it. Parental Love is one of my top 3 favorite games of ALL time. But this game seems like a step back in every regard. The models are far less enticing, the story is boring, and I have zero connection to any of the characters. My main issue though is that it might as well just be a Virtual Novel. The choices in Parental Love were hugely impactful, and made me feel like part of the story. Finding the right memory in this, at the right time of day to propel the story forward, feels awful.

If I hadn't experienced it myself I would assume that this game came first, and that Parental Love was the game that came afterward, where the developer learned from all their mistakes and gave us a real treasure. Every update, I have tried to get into this game again, and with this latest one I've realized that this definitely isn't the game for me. I will always be grateful for what Luxee has done for the community, but I just wanted to get this out there for those who loved the first game, as I did, that this game isn't remotely similar, and one that I'll be avoiding going forward.
