Hard to say, Luxee has never been in any hurry to release updates, maybe it will come out some time this year, who knows.
This game has kinda been on my "wait and see" list for some time, due to the many indecisive possible release dates and being repeatedly missed, if an update comes it comes, if not, then oh well.
As much as I love the game, the sparodic release schedule prevents me from spending any time anxiously awaiting the update to come out.

This time around, the tracker has been going slower and slower, pushed back and outright frozen a lot. So given what I've seen up until now, I think there's a high likelyhood Luxee got burnt out, either from life things or the amount of shit they get from idiots.

It's sad because realistically, Nea's the type of romance I looked for. I really couldn't care less about their gender, what drove me was I was *always* into the shy, quiet, cute reserved ones in school, and looked from afar. Yeah, I really don't understand all the hate towards Nea, so Nea is trans, big deal, she is a great character IMHO.
Although I am not interested in a romantic relationship with her character in the game, it doesn't mean I want her written out of the game on the rejection path either, it was, let's say, a rather extreme option.

No evidence, but my thought is that Luxxee had to deal with so much trans hate, that they just lost it and said something like, "fine, you hate like the trans character, I'll just kill her off!"

Have you seen some of the people on this site? People will go out of their way to let others know how much they hate gay or trans/futa content. They will come into threads knowing a game has such types of characters and go off on tangents so they can feel validated for being the shitty person they are. It's not Nea they hate, they hate themselves and project hard their hatred whenever they get the chance.

Well, I'm not in to futa/trans content either, if it's optional I don't really care if it's in a game, but if it's forced I will play something else, it's really not the end of the world.
But going in to threads you KNOW have certain content and start flaming the dev/people who play it is bullshit, those people just need to get a grip.

I get way more use out of the ignore button on this site than I do on any other forum. I get it, it's a pirate porn site, so the moderation can't be overly strict. But there is definitely a vocal minority that feels really entitled about their jerkoff material.

There are a lot of types of content that are huge turnoffs for me: girls with dicks, sharing, NTR, scat, urination, pregnancy. But the site has tags and I don't have such a inflated view of my own opinion that I go to those tagged threads and complain. I also don't go to games that don't have my kinks and ask that the dev take the time to make content that caters to me. But I'm a mostly mature adult, so I realize that behavior is just embarrassing. I always just assume there are a lot of people on this site who either never grew up and gained self-awareness, or they are literally not grown-ups.

Anyway, I liked Nea the character, was glad pursuing her sexually was optional, and am disappointed that Luxee may have broken the game development by throwing in a big "fuck you" to her haters.

I don't think it's abandoned, but it's development has certainly crawled to almost non-existent.

I don't think it's abandoned, but it's development has certainly crawled to almost non-existent.

And Luxee probably doesn't have a big incentive to jump back into this pool that often doubles as a toxic waste dump.

If the dev of this game has been turned off by all the hate that would suck but I can understand
I saw it happen a few weeks ago to the dev of The curse of joy & Sorrow he got so much hate the games were abandoned and even the thread in one of them had the comments closed
and I think he has quit game development completely.

I can understand that, but developers also need to be able to ignore the hate, since every game in existence will have it to one degree or another, I'm not saying it would be easy (and have seen some of the toxic comments in this thread), but I'm sure it's something all developers have to deal with at some level.
The question is will the developer try to ignore it and push on, or just abandon the project altogether, because it would be a real shame to lose this game.
Maybe the staff could do something about the kink shaming/toxicity towards gay/trans etc etc and start banning them, there really is no need for it, if you don't like those kinds of things move on and play something else, all the toxicity achieves nothing, except make developers wonder why they even bother making games.

Like I said, Luxee takes a lot, and I mean a lot more hate and toxicity than the vast majority of the devs on this website. It's really nuts how much people shit on them for stupid reasons. So the more harrassed they are, the more it impacts their mental health.
It's easy to say "They need to be able to whistand the haters", but at the end of the day devs are human being. They are just as flawed as anyone else. And contrary to mental resilience, human stupidity doesn't know any boundaries and seems absolutely infinite.

there was no continuity it felt like everything was a random sex scene imo
