I use a seperate firewall on my PC and a firewalled proxy on my network ... of course it got blocked ... that how I got the notice about the game trying to connect ... the windows biuld-in-firewall does blocks (or not) what it´s want (not you) ...
Do you think that it is ok if a (porn) game is trying to send data to an "unknown" server? What data is it sending?
For what purpose?
Now dont come with that phrase that the developer wants to know how we play this game and what we click on to improve his game or such BS ...
99% who downloaded this game have first seen the tags and second I´m sure they click on everthing and try everything - just to see all the content. So what could be the "real" purpose for a connection?
Call me paranoid (I dont care), but such behavior lets my alarmbells ring! I don't see any reasonable explanation for a porn game to connect to someone/something to send whatever data WITHOUT even telling the players about.
It's fine to be paranoid - if you want to play and have concerns, feel free to continue blocking the game via your firewall.
Anyone else can make their own judgment based on information we have available. It appeared to be a connection to pull in latest news about the game and I saw no further attempts after taking various actions in the Settings/menus and during gameplay.
As always, when we see something of potential interest to players, we advertise what we know for those considering downloads and will investigate more deeply if it appears nefarious (we have taken builds of other games down that appeared too suspicious.) This doesn't appear nefarious and I saw nothing in the payload that would indicate a privacy breach, but as always make whatever decision is best for you.
