The last time I spoke with someone from the team - yesterday - NLT was working alone. He does all the art, story, dialogues and coding.NLT is a team of 6 , pysho im not sure if hes lone ranger or team .
Two of his close friends helped him to make the launcher and setting up the web-server for the upcoming HTML5 version, available for iOS and all browser including save slots via Patreon account.
Then there are 3 to 4 people who provide suggestions or share their opinions on ideas for future updates. And not to forget, there are a few beta-tester who test each update a few days before the release.
A lot Devs have an inner-cycle of people they trust and ask them for their opinion on the story, art, etc. However, these people are not directly involved in the creation of the game.
Why NLT can release updates every 14-days and mostly clocklike is, because he stockpiles updates weeks ahead. How he is able to do it, is simple:
- 20 years of experience in graphic design (he doesn't use full-renderd images with background etc. as other devs do),
- a hell of a render machine with 10,000 cuda cores,
- good at planning and self-management,
- invested money by creating content for Lust Epidemic before the initial release,
The most important part is planning. If your initial plan is good and you do not depart form it, then there shouldn't be any delays (except for delays cause by outside factors).
