I still laugh at the folks that think Patreon magical find these VN. On discord couple devs i support had poll .. How supporters discoverd the game and started supporting on pateron and ss and like 85% came from F95. Also most these devs release the game to public after few weeks for free. Why most of dev panic when Abandon tag hits F95

I have no problem supporting dev for early release who drop updates every 2-3 months. I supported this game for like 2-3 months but you see all you get is 6-7 month updates and random pin up. Money coming in no need to work hard . See all clown devs from past like milf city now heart problems great games and devs got lazy and greedy.

it's just Human Nature, a Dev or not , Free money without much work is just too good for most of us to become lazy and greedy.
only Devs who actually keep consistent updates are passionate about their craft and work and not just money grab,
which is certainly not the case here ...

The only quality dev I've seen that's passionate about their project is LlamaMan. He posts on here all the time because he knows where he gets the bulk of his new subscribers.

You're right, most Devs get a following and then chill. It's not passion, it's to pay bills. Honestly, that's why I don't sub to games where the devs are from Russia or Asia. They want the money, not a compelling game.

i would be fine if the updates took 5-6 months, but now update cycles are getting longer for the same amount of content. So i will only sub when a update drops.

I agree. See, I bought from time to time some games for PC (less likely) or console. And it's one time payment. You bought the game and have lot of fun for some time. This subscriptions are endless for to be honest unfinished games. Every dev should know in start is he capable to deliver when he decide to earn some money for his work. Any excuse from devs are simply unacceptable. When I decide that one dev deserve to be paid I subscribe for a month. To give someone 100$ more or less in total through a year to get something like 10% in best case of his work is not support. It's madness. And yes you get also some random renders, pin-ups and other stuff which you will watch then and maybe never again. And after some time delete it accidently or on purpose.

This place stopped being a real pirate site quite some time ago. When a Patreon dev can just come in and request control of a thread about a game they are making and be given it instatly it's not exactly sailing the high digital seas.
I have no problem with devs using F95 as a marketing tool, but if what you are saying is actually the case (devs taking over other people’s threads), then that’s really bad.

How do you know about that?

:ROFLMAO: What are you going on about, the dev's always get hread ownership if they so wish...and if someone makes the thread and they are not the dev, the dev can request ownership, it is their right, and it can also be taken away if they break the rules.

That doesn't stop their releases from being leaked.

So I'm not sure how you equate a dev having ownership of a thread to F95 not being a pirate site....

Becuase I have seen it, don't take my word for it, the posters below you corroborate that as well.
You haven't seen anything to back it up. Thread ownership only means dev's can add screen shots, and update links with a release, they CANNOT REMOVE LINKS if the update is leaked.

Again, it does not stop the release from being leaked it someone shares it before it goes public if there is even a public release, because uploaders and mods also have ownership.
