B) I LOVE the political twist.
C) Life is politics. Politics affect everything you do. One of the two major political parties in our country wants to outlaw porn (it's literally in their platform). I'll give you a hint, it's the one that SAYS they want less government interference in your life.

For those interested, Apocalypse V0.1 was deliverd last Thrusday to $5 patrons. So expect it public before the end of this week. If his normal 6-day cycle for BotB holds maybe even tonight. Remember, it is a tech demo, not a full playable game. There are plenty of places where you simply fall off the world as development has not finished there yet. So try to rollback in that case and keep those saves handy. It is possible to play to the end of day 7, current end of the game, if you manage to avoid the pottholes in the road. No opinion on it from me here, I recommend you see for yourself when it is available.

That a real walk through for lady Apokolips and also could be placed in the review section as well ... when we will have a game thread ... hopefully ... some time in the next rotation of the moon!

It IS a sandbox game. I set a time limit here because there's not enough stuff to do just yet and I don't like grind where you wander aimlessly and nothing happens...

So yes it does include a satire of trump and the maga crowd that you can consider political if you want, but it's so over the top it never felt political the several times I played it. So if you can't get past the fact that trump in any form is in there, then don't play it, but trump is a small part of this game. The game which by it's nature is over the top given a key aspect of this game is alpha-radiation which results in oversized sexual features.

Well, there's the difference between "open world" and "sandbox." Sandbox is open world with some progression, open world is, well... open, with some [repeatable] events.

its actually the reverse...

a open world is where you go anywhere you want for progress (missions and else), a sandbox is a "free game" where you go anywhere for getting a series of events and stuff you can replay endlessly.

Actually, in a sandbox game you are not bound by a checklist of objectives and missions and you can shape your own story while open world games pretty forces you to play a certain story. You have much more freedom in a sandbox game than an open world game.

By sandbox I think he meant not playing the game in the similar way as other player. I'm gonna use one of the dev's game "Battle of the Bulges" as an example where you have options to have sex with the girls at any point of the game. But if you chose one girl then you lose the chance to have sex with the other and that creates some replay value as if you want to see all the scenes you have to play the game multiple times as one playthrough is not enough to see everything thus leading to different experiences every time you start a new game.

Well there's also the fact that there are events set at specific times in the week of the game Battle of the Bulges whereas this is not the case in Apocalypse.
