For the new players here is a modified version giving you a better start.
Changes:
If all works well for you you'll arrive on day 7 with +10 in all attributes (if you choose the laptop and train correctly at the fireplace) and ready to wait 150 days before building the shop. No, I joke

Dev has zero integrity. Failed to do what they said they would do, in adjusting per complaints.
Worse, other nonsensical updates according to changelog, like making a male a "mistress," where a male cannot of course be a "mistress," the term of course in english language is incorrect.
Worse, I won't go into too much detail but it is obvious to me as someone who played this game up until v0.29 that the game has clearly gone full korn. Digusting nihilistist, little satanic cloaked pedo focus designed to promote, normalize and indoctrinate the thousands of impression youths on incest/relative pedophilia, like too many other such lewd games, or otherwise for total adult scum.
I could also post a recent documentary on pregnant women/child sex-trafficking, torture, organ harvesting operations that mimick this game scenario, now even more developed on this end, in Europe/Middle East [hard fact, interpol] as well as presumably South America and cartel-driven North America events, but I won't. It does not expose or creativelt promote thought but instead adopts, replicates, promotes and enacts the same sick fantasy. Gone is the free will open aspect, you can see from recent changelog, the priorities.
The paraphrase and summarize Dev's recent thought on what he wanted in the game, they stated they wanted a dark, "uncomfortable" environment. Bingo - you got it, women/child enslavement, rape as the evolving focal point here. The child element is excusable whereby, by default, the player is pushed to incestuous rape their own childen and now whores' children, yours or others - great variation on same theme in recent updates. Before this could be avoided, nope, not anymore...
But the point is: kidnapping women into "slaves" impregnating them, then taking their babies (and other children) into a nursery only to give them "a magic pill" that instantly turns them into a superficial age [yes, superficial, no real argument besides gaslight], to bang them, now with a written in update "event" (mother and 2 daughters, presumably). Great... focus. Now in new updates, you can feel better by having your trafficked prostitues have children, in which you can enslave, give a magic pill and rape too. Nevermind actual logic and game flow or mechnics, these are secondary to a misanthropic, pedo fantasy.
The scenario here, especially post v0.29 has evolved and focused on the worst. This is apparent to me. Plus when a dev straightout lies to your face and then implements many storyline/events including post-event in which they said they would fix, then I think it says it all.

Bruh, this game has been the same in tone since pretty much the begining. Pretty crazy of you to play it up to the last update if you had such an issue with the content.

I have also followed the game since the beginning and am also very sensitive to any association between children and sex.
I also detected a few points that bothered me, including this one on which I reacted.
However, I am not as certain as you that this is really a voluntary drift towards pedophilia and therefore I continue to participate while monitoring developments. If you see me diseappearing from any discussion here or on discord you will know that a red line has been crossed for me, for example if I'm sure that a child description in nursery let appear any sexual related thing.
In summary :
- you are right on some points
- you are wrong on certain points
- you go too quickly in your assertions and conclusions
