Same, I followed 2 guides from the mod and it still doesn't work, feels like a fucking monkey trying to make it work

these are the packs I use have to fix 1 because no image for a cumshot working just to lazy to fix it These are my own not the ones by other modders, still have a few to add but to many games and can't update. Asa Akira is the one missing the cumshot but her rest videos are ok, got like 3-4 asian girls and adding 1-2more. I'm making all asians my Yakuza girls

No experience with coding here, but it looks like 0.69 did ship with some bugs. Seems like code changed that breaks the maid nap scene. The new code checks to see if an NPC is present (or, rather, a Guest or Slave defined as an NPC is present), displays the text and one of the images that should be shown for a maid being present in the room, but doesn't set _isMaidInRoom, which is a trigger condition for 'maid surprise'.
I suspect a similar problem lead to being able to assign random chicks in the wild to your kitchen.

As for the milk barn, it appears an attempt to cleanup the jobs that get assigned to slave vs the jobs that get assigned to guests was made, but no code was put in place to include assigning slaves to the milk barn in the new code.
The phrase "assign to milk barn" doesn't show anywhere in the HTML file.
Guessing it was an oversight or accidental upload of an in-progress build.
Should be an easy fix ... I think. Again, I can read some of this stuff, and understand a bit of it, but I have no real knowledge how most of it works.

Look forward to version 0.69a or version 0.70 in a few days to fix this. Until then, I'll stick with 0.68.

Don't want this to seem like I'm bashing Ttyrke, btw. Wish you the best of luck in making this game. I've been quite enjoying watching it develop and playing as new content is added. Thank you.

What I do for every pack is just cut and paste from the old to the new and it works for me for moving the packs and custom portraits over, but I have the custom portraits separate from the mods. Don't have to keep redownloading each time. You will have to change the custom portrait every new patch if you have them. For example if you open index with a text document you will have to change the number for each custom portrait for each race. I have some of those on a list some where but not others. Smokraider was the other person making mods, I haven't seen him post in a while but check his posts for the other mods.

Do you change only custom portraits numbers or something else? (For custom portaits, could maybe add some settings that instead of need to modify game each download, it could be stored something in the save.

I can follow instructions, but I don't know anything about coding...Not sure what happens where, when running node.js on "searchActionsPacks.js" to add the packs.

fandom has provided two guides that are great for figuring the customization process out. I was struggling too at first.
They are on: p. 434/#8667 & p. 437/#8737.

Another thing I noticed, when the custom vids wouldn't play, was that after hitting the "checks" for the packs in the menu, the selection was undone a few moments later. Not sure why. Maybe I fired up the game, hit the checks, then loaded a save game. Anyway, hitting the checks once again inside the menu worked and the selection stayed on that time and the vids worked. Good luck!

No. For custom packs the main goal was that on each new update you don't need to touch your packs at all.
Custom packs have their own actions.js with files.
Only time when node might be needed if you don't use custom packs but put your images in images/actions folder. Only then you would need to re-run node script after update

Started playing about a week ago. Loving it as a game. Lost my sex drive about 16 years ago when my son was born, but still like the societal aspects and community dynamics presented.

Questions: is the limit on the Guest House beds a game engine limit, meaning things start to break if you get too many peeps, or are there other reasons? When hosting a party for the guests do the pregnant girls drink the champaign and if so does it have an affect on the baby? Is there a guide or list of what actions affect Goodwill ? What happens if your Guest House is full and children come of age in the Nursery?

When Exploring and you encounter the Wolf Pack, regardless of whether you win or lose, you get the same resolution stating that you are left bleeding out even if you are not.

Met a brother and sister in a diner, convinced them to come back with me, but the girl was only 17 and went into the Guest House instead of the Nursery. Could not interact with her except to change her name but she still took up a bed and slowly lost Happiness.

IIRC, you can add more Guest' beds using the cheat menu. I don't think it should be a problem with the game engine as long as you don't add like hundreds of new guest'.

since the new update i've been getting issues with the stumble-upon scenes just throwing tons of erros in a row, leaving you with only the interrupt and leave buttons, and if you do interrupt, there's no continue buttons

also if you sexchange operation a guy to a girl they appear to default to [undetermined] breasts which causes issues, then put them out on the streets (both before and after breast surgery to fix that), they can earn NaN caps, which appears to just fuck your money amount forever

No offense but I'm confused of what rule is that? I think the criteria for assigning to milk barn is either having the milker trait or being pregnant before 0.69. Also my mistake for the milk warden one since I have to sleep again in order to reassign it after checking with save from 0.68a again and loading at 0.69, I still can't assign to milk barn with new npcs with the milker trait (0.69). Though If I just save from 0.69 then load 0.68a I can assign the new ones. (Edit: Tried with guest house again still did not show?)

I finally got around to trying Smokeraider's mod and it worked fine for me except for a couple of quirks.

The packs javascript file he included worked fine to include all the stuff linked from the vanilla game plus the pack girls he added. As a test I added Madison Ivy from a bigger pack I found and I had to edit the javascript file to manually add her but that worked fine and was very easy to do.

I could not get Smokeraider's instructions on updating the custom portraits to work since he has them subdivided by hair type and his instructions for updating the index.html file for that didn't work for me. What does work is you can just rename all of those files to ascending numbers and update the max number to match the new total. Then all the new ones will show up. But you'll have blond/brunette/redhead/etc all mixed together.

The game needs a pre-patched version with all the girls packs, or an easier way to make it work. I when through comments trying to see what is the updated way to apply the packs and they did even work at the end. I got an error when trying to recruit girls even on the base game(so no packs error). I am leaving this game for the future, hopefully it will get fixed.

As I stated about a day ago, I don't think code is there to enable assigning to milk barn. If someone is already assigned in another version and the save is imported, they'll still be assigned. If you open the HTML for 0.69, you can search for text and you can find all lines of code that should contain that text, including printed as plaintext for players to read or click on. "Assign to milk barn" is a phrase you can find in the 0.68a html, not in 0.69.
