I don't see anything about policies, but I have not built a guest house yet, maybe that is it.
Edit: I built a guest house and now I'm getting the options like in the basement, which allows me to give a gift etc.

The guest house is for the guest right? Not for the familly that join the small house you construct in your base ? Because i can't seem to find any possible interaction with the dwellers at the moment, just guest and slaves.
Apologies if someone has already asked this in the thread, but has anyone got a list or a link to a list of what clips were used in the game? And more importantly, who the actors were?

Isn't the guest house the small house the same? Unfortunately I've not encountered the family since building the guest house, so don't know yet.
It's tough for me too, I don't even try it anymore. I think you can only miss once and my finger isn't very accurate on a tablet.
I'm trying to help build the church at the settlement, it is at 80%, and it keeps telling me I need 5 ropes, but have 13 or more in inventory and it won't let me do it.
Yea the additional "familes/population" you invite, they are non-interactible right now. The "limit" is how many houses you build in the settlement admin screens for the town upgrades.
Yea its 9 or higher hits.. otherwise you "miss" them all.
You only miss out on food and wolf pelts.
By the time you can start assigning guests to go hunting, over time they will gather what you need as far as pelts for quest objectives. (else do it in the console).
I dont think theres been any issue with this code in a while, and re-looking at the event, you are either short on "time" or "energy" by the time you are getting to there. So.. if anything, if you do have more than 5 ropes, then sleep another day, go there first when you have full energy and it should let you finish it.
For food is better to focus on wood gathering. for each action you can get 30 wood, trade it for 30 caps on farm, and buy 30 food. For wolf pelts , only guest assigned for hunting, with bow, can get a pelt from time to time...
I eventually figured out that selling wood was the way to go for food, along with a greenhouse, but can any guest be assigned hunting and given a bow or just those with a talent? I recently got the quest to give pelts to Octavia, so ...
I have one with the Woodcraft skill, but don't see how to give the bow.
