Thanks for this.
Does this work for the free version and not the paid one? I ask because I've been exploring for a while and can only find car batteries or bullets (using the explore button)
Yes, they all work in the Free game. The only advantage the supporter code gives is the ability to choose the event, which still doesn't guarantee a car part.

At the top of the left panel is an arrow that points to the left (back button). Press 'Explore', if its not the Police car or the cave, press the back button, and the game will 're roll' the event. Repeat until you get the car or cave with car part.

Perhaps is the first time playing an HTML game..
Not really.
But HTML games are bathing in your browser.
And the browser itself is an ocean, a bottomless ocean of good and less good stuff.

Exe is supposed to be more restricted to a frame.IT security wise.

The browser is the thing people use for banking, for accessing secure emails, money apps etc...

So I would only use a browser game in a virtual machine environment. As a matter of principle. I also do that in most games I try in this website. I have a separate machine with fake identities to play games and do stuff over the internet. It's a safety measure. A safety concern.

And to add, I'm not at all an expert in security. I could be completely wrong. Maybe an exe is the worse option security wise. It's just my very limited opinion.

As an amateur coder with a little firewall, I can block an exe very easily.

I could maybe even go full ape on it, and make a server to spoof its communications with another machine.

With the browser I use everyday? It's a bit harder.
And I'm not even putting a toe in hacker stuff... It's an universe where I would drown in the first drop at the surface.

Download DuckDuckGo run in fire window it is a very secure browser or in incognito mode in other browsers save to disk and use USB for the saves. these are just a few secure measures for browser games

Hi, what is the best way to report bugs?

I found these two game breaking bugs in v0.71:

- Pregnancy chance is always 100%
That is because, many if statements to check for pregnancy are,
Code:
if setup.pregnancyChance($tmpGirl, setup.perkHas('fertility'))
where they should be,
Code:
if setup.percentageChance(setup.pregnancyChance($tmpGirl, setup.perkHas('fertility')))
setup.pregnancyChance always returns a positive integer, e.g. chance for something to happen (from 0 to 100), thus when you directly give it to IF statement, it will always be true. Therefore, every time check if girl became pregnant or not, will always be true.

- happyness tanks if girl gets to sad, and it is impossible to recover from it.
because due to this,
Code:
<<set $tmpGirl.happy += Math.min(100, $tmpGirl.happy + randomInteger(1, 10))>>
so, if happy is currently below 0 (e.g. girl is sad), then any action like workout will tank the happyness further because Math.Min(100, negative number) will return negative number... and what you get when you add two negative numbers? A negative number that is more negative! Thus, once girl is sad, any actions will make her even more sadder, until suicide event triggers.

The above need to be fixed as,
Code:
<<set $tmpGirl.happy += randomInteger(1, 10)>>
simply add any random number to girl happyness... thus, things like talking to her or working out with her will improve her happyness, always

the math.min it's present to cut the value if go over 100. i think the right code should be

Code:
<<set $tmpGirl.happy = Math.min(100, $tmpGirl.happy + randomInteger(1, 10))>>

Yes, I agree.

However, looking at all the places where `happy` is set, it doesn't seem like it has upper bound check of 100 (via Math.Min()). Meaning, in many places and events it is simply:
Code:
$tmpGirl.happy += randomInteger(1, 10)
Therefore, what is correct? Is Happyness suppose to be bound by 100?

If yes, then I agree, everywhere it should be corrected to be like this,
Code:
$tmpGirl.happy = Math.min(100, $tmpGirl.happy + randomInteger(1, 10))

Suggestion:
Make it so that you can sort custom portaits based on race, hair colour, etc. And have random encounters choose a random portrait for each new NPC encountered.
