Alright I'ma tell y'all how to EZ mode this game. This is not a step-by-step guide, be sure to read everything through and through because it's all important.
You have an item in your inventory that the game doesn't really tell you about called "
Status Call". Use the item to allocate your stats. This costs points. You gain points by killing stuff. You gain a lot more points when you level up, which you do by killing stuff.
Simple enough, so here's what you do. You kill stuff, and you pump everything into
ATK to the point where you can run up to an enemy and OHKO them before they can OHKO us
(in true Path of Exile fashion). When you can't OHKO them, you can kite enemies around a bit because it takes like 1.5 seconds for them to actually get an attack off when they turn to you in an adjacent square. When you want to move on to the next zone, dump some extra points into
INT which will make it so that crystal progress will
*
THOOOM*. This also means you need to spam "Z" less. Also look into getting the "
HP Top Form ATK Boost" passive which can randomly turn two-hit and three-hit KOs into OHKOs for faster grinding. Make sure the passive is enabled (pink text):
If you're gonna deallocate points to stuff it into ATK, I recommend leaving LUK alone as that seems to affect your damage rolls - low LUK means low damage even though you have crazy high ATK, but putting it at 50 LUK helped bring out the big numbers again. Going beyond 50~100 doesn't seem to affect the damage range as much (maybe because of harsh diminishing returns) but I believe it affects crit chance or something. All the other stats are useless, even DEF.
You shouldn't have to give a shit about going back to the zone entrance to refill your "attack meter" or whatever they are calling it ("Barrier" in the stat menu). All you gotta do is go into your inventory, use "
Warp Stone" and set Coordinate A at your home base right in front of the crystal orb. At your crystal orb, examine this thingamajig:
and set it to "9", which will make it so that the altar restores your attack meter as fast as
. Then, go to the hardest zone you can do, set down Coordinate B in the Warp Stone, then get to farming. I would bump up your "Barrier" stat to 600 to avoid getting stuck in the boss room.
THE WARP STONE USES MP, NOT YOUR ATTACK METER. Don't get stuck in a dangerous situation because you're too dumb to not notice the blue bar isn't so blue anymore. Attack meter can be converted into MP by pressing "W" on the keyboard, so refill it at home.
Enjoy staring enemies to death.
