If you are still interested about game engine, I'm pretty sure it's made with Game Maker Studio engine. And UndertaleModTool can unpack this game so users can try to make custom mods for this unfinished title.

A pretty good mod; if it had domination and submission animations for the bosses in rounds 40, 50, and 60, it would literally be the completed version... example, the boss of round 40 KULA, has a completed domination animation when you defeat him... the rest of the bosses from wave 40 onwards have strange or incomplete animations... but the mod is very well done... from what I saw, only 5 animations are missing and with this mod you've literally finished AoA
