Frankly, most roguelites fails at being roguelites since most devs are really just riding on the coattails of [insert current popular roguelite here]. Procedural generation and recycled enemies are just seen as an excuse for less work, few devs actually played roguelikes to get a clear idea of what a roguelite was meant to circumvent & emulate and meta progression's mostly treated as the carrot-on-a-stick to pad out game time.

yes but do you know that rougelite is not a word as he used it too? so it's obviously a typo not "Rouge" class heroine... despite her red appearance she does have "thieving skills" and "dual daggers" so it's pretty safe to say that yes it's a typo. "rougelite" is a pretty good giveaway. you could have found it faster than typing to me.
I managed to get a 100% completion - fun game, I enjoyed it.
The knight girl is super busted. Grab as many of the Broken cards as possible and just stack them on the enemy. Most of them give you defense as well, so your gameplay is basically just turtling + spamming Broken, and then either stunlocking the enemy with the card that stuns if the enemy has 4+ Broken, gradually building Attack with the card that gives perma-attack if the enemy is broken, or using the shield->attack when you have tons of shield. I beat the last boss just by stacking 20+ Broken and then stunlocking it every turn.
For the thief girl, literally just grab the artifact that gives +10 special skill, and stack bleed. Kill everything in 1-2 turns, lol.

To be fair, people who play rogues(like in WoW or diablo IV) get it wrong. So it's not a 2nd language/broken English kind of thing.

Rofl, that's a phonetic translation from English to Chinese and then back into English literally. Rogue is pronounced the same way as meat pigeon in Chinese (sort of), so that's the nickname for rogue like games in Chinese. Whoever translated it back into English translated it literally.

Just saying, but the game's "developer notes" and the "official" English game title both come from its English-language page on Steam. The developer of the game clearly just stuffed the texts into an MTL and used the unedited result as a placeholder (which is always a silly idea).
Does anyone understand how what an action phase is (assuming it's not a just a turn) and how delayed blocks work? Cause for some reason I keep getting fights where I almost never gain my delayed blocks. hell I just did the final fight where I ended with over 300 delayed block stacks because they weren't consumed a single time in the entire fight. Granted it doesn't really matter, the game is easy enough that not getting them didn't matter in the slightest and I already finished the gallery, but still, it's annoying.

The cards on the bottom is the cards you have just won. Drag and drop to replace your deck.

If the replacing card is the same but a lower number then upgrade the current card by 1.
If the replacing card is different but a lower number then replace the current card with the new card but keep the old card's power.
Other options just replace the old card with the new card.
(You upgrade old crappy cards to 6 and just replace them with a better card later)
The right tool tip just states when hovering a card, the left number is the max amount of the card you can have, the right is the max power of the card.
