I'm done importing the entire Kagura translation into the raw Japanese version of the game patched with the DLC. Haven't touched to translate Common Events and the DLC section yet. There's a total of 147 new maps being added to the base game, and hopefully it might not take a lot of time for me to translate all of them.

Also, it seems there's no error so far based on my testing playthrough for the prologue and the first H-scene; hopefully it all goes well throughout the game.

You should change your name from Chubby Cat to Chubby Goat. I took the liberty of representing your majesty

So what is the current state of the DLC translation? A little lost in different versions people are mentioning here.
Can someone summarize a guide on how to play the new content in english?

I'm a bit disappointed, maybe my expectations were too high, but in reality, we didn't get what we were hoping for... The scenes are mediocre. It feels like only the FIRST character is well-developed, since the transition to another location is connected to him, while the other two still need to be found... Unfortunately, the DLC doesn't bring anything radically new (and we waited so long). There's no new weapons, no new enemies, and the useless locations remained useless without being filled with anything new (not even new comics). Essentially, it's a 10-minute DLC -_- . We can't even revisit the new locations for a second time (for some unclear reason)...
Also, the author didn’t take into account the pregnancy of one of the characters, seemingly ignoring this fact. In my opinion, the best storyline is the first one (with the boss)... Additionally, I noticed at least three significant BUGS. 1) At the very start of the game - if you don’t accept the mission, you can infinitely replay the scene with the wife, returning home over and over. 2) One of the early missions - if you lean against one of the WALLS and try to shoot, the shot won't happen. 3) In one mission, the MINES were visually absent, even though they were actually there.
In short- my rating for this DLC is 4 out of 10 – it’s bad.
Who's this we you speak of?

I also didn’t like the lack of an option in the GAME to remove (interference), because in the GALLERY there is such an option, and you can view them WITHOUT interference... You can (manually) try to swap the files from the game (those without interference) and replace the regular ones, tricking the game. But it’s strange that the developer didn’t provide such an option. As for me, this DLC is not just weak, it’s VERY WEAK, and I don’t believe they spent so much time making it + even tried to delay the release by a MONTH (in fact, there’s about a month’s worth of work here if you know what you’re doing)... I’m very disappointed -_-

All the scenes being post-game like the Scars of summer dlc is pretty disappointing because I'm usually more invested in the "corrupting" and when they've totally fallen my interest kinda drops.

but that you cannot see what happens in the communications is part of the game, is the mechanics while you are controlling the protogonists you are hearing sounds and images that distract you and do not let you concentrate, this game wants you to get into the role ,these protagonists who say nothing, express nothing, are there for the player to put those feelings into them. (although, for example, I cannot get into that role but there are people who can and i respect that) that's why knowing what happens inside the cockpit would be a metagame and yet I understand the purpose, many times the suggestion is stronger than a clear visualization and the developer has put it in the gallery so you can see it later clearly

The game is based on not knowing what is happening, is hidden ntr if the player wants to know what is happening, he can go to the gallery to view it and I understand that you don't like it but that you can't see what happens is part of the game mechanics, that's why you're not allowed to see anything outside the gallery.

Putting any type of mechanism to be able to see things that technically you cannot would break the immersion and the purpose of the game would change completely

Seeing how there's one dlc comms mission before Eleanor's corruption makes me wonder what if the dev just focused on Duston's route and didn't do the other 2 routes since to me they feel pretty weak. And now after checking out the new post game scenes you can clearly tell GapTax put a lot of effort in Duston's scenes. Personally I would have liked more comms scenes before her fall to flesh out the corruption progress but the ones we got were still great.

I know exactly why he did this. It is the same reason why we must backtrack to the recollection room to see scenes.
It's following this type of NTR where the scenes are obscured because the cuck POV doesn't know what is happening (classic example; people having sex behind a curtain and at best you can see their shadow figures or she putting her face outside to talk while pretending she isn't getting railled behind the curtain).

People into this type of fetish, are the same that would also be into censored porn (and I don't mean stuff like JAV mosaic required by law, I mean censoring normal uncensored porn as a kink).

Not my thing, but I can't judge the game's quality because it has a kink I don't like. (but fuck that backtracking, just play the scene out. The gallery even spoils what will happen before I see it for the first time)

I'm with you but a "magic gallery" that shows what the MC's wife is doing behind his back isn't accomplishing anything in terms of immersion.

I don't even mean in simple "suspense of disbelief" terms. The game loses all its surprise factor when you stumble upon a scene and all you get is a notification that a new scene was added instead of playing normally, to add salt to the injury the gallery even spoils what the scene will be before you even see for the first time.

It reminds me of MGS V when the opening credits of each mission spoiled which character would appear, but even worse.

Alright, here are the 3 options I offer for playing this game:

  1. Wait for the official translation for the best experience, but you have to wait for months.
  2. Play the game with MTL, but You’ll be crying while playing because of the beauty of the MTL poetry
  3. LEARN JAPANESE.

Which one do you guys think is the best ?

learn japanese, it's an investment for every other game that comes out without a decent translation

I don't really know what people expected... The dlc is a 1/3 of the price of the main game, with 1/3 of the content compared to the overall content each character has in the main game. The volume and pricing is right, with some of the best scenes. The delay was unfortunate but the dlc still met my expectations and exceeded them personally.

I won't complain, overall enjoyed the experience. I'll always love the comm scenes, absolutely set me off the first time I played and realized what was happening ( or lack thereof), and that voyeuristic mystery turned out to be a kink I never knew I had, of the highest order for me.

I will say this: I think the next evolution of this idea would be something "on rails", and I'll avoid an overall spoiler but it happens on one mission, and I knew it when I saw it, but it works best if it's animated. That's a tall order for a small developer, but if this idea ever takes off, one way it could be done is if the game is a SHMUP, with active comms between you and the female lead. Each mission is then basically a timer, and the comms are completely animated and active as you're playing through each level, so then the comms feel way more organic. To make it more useful, the female lead ( from her post on the ship ) sends you shields, ammo, whatever mechanic the SHMUP is based on, but those supplies get worse, useless, or don't come at all as she falls into depravity.

On top of the NTR fetish, the masochism of playing a SHMUP and having animated, lively comms while playing feels like it would be a winning combo.

As an aside, bukakke comms was pretty funny.

Edit: fixed some noticeable typos and sentence structure. Doing this from a phone is bleh.
